Maybe GTA6 will actually come out one day!

Those are all fake, YT is full of those "gta 6 leaks" they been doing them for I think like 3 years these channels

My bro taught one of the game devs to drive an last he heard from him they were in miama filming an it was going be a few years off, he wouldn't say if it was 6 or if it was going be a title like gta San Andrea's, but he did say it was in early works, they were focused on rdr2 an gta all got pushed out the way

I do know however that years ago one of the workers went home with a in process disc for a future game an they were instantly fired, the game also was dropped due to other reasons, so I do believe they have very tight security to stop any leaks

Yt is full of fake ones, but I posted this one as loads of industry people with blue ticks are saying this leak is real:

It's always going be hard to tell since obvs rockstar will never say, with how long ago my bro taught him then I'd say it should definitely be in the works by now since it's been a while that rdr2 has been out now

Usually a sign it's well into work is when they advertise for game testers, it's all temporary contracts so they get rid when the games out so it's clear when the job advertises then it's mid way in developing

Edit* had a look an they are looking for quite a number of positions like character artist, vehicle artist, lightning developer as well as a few other graphics developers etc but no testors so still feels very early stage yet

Do you think it’s legit? I always question these videos unless Rockstar has released them, but the new videos do look genuine! GTA 5 online is so dead now and the new dlcs they bring out are just boring. Can’t wait

Rockstar is issuing takedown requests on all the videos, so that pretty much confirms it.

It was a genuine leak, Rockstar released a statement.

The stuff leaked was far too professional and detailed to be fake in my opinion. If anything it’s got me more excited for the next game, knowing it’s actually in progress, for an unfinished game it looks fantastic. The devs, actors and everyone involved should be proud of their work so far.

I don't think there was any doubt it wasn't real - was a world apart from fan stuff and rockstar deleted messages on their boards talking about it.

At least it's on its way, even if that is at least another 18 months away.

I hadn't seen any of the leaked stuff cause am so used to the fakes being out there, its cool a female will be one of the main characters, with the amount of staff they are looking for an what skills they want it looks to me to be maybe around 2ish years before it will be out

Guessing security now is gonna be crazy after this with making sure no future stuff is leaked

I thought it seemed too good to be a fake. I think most of us are so used to seeing fakes it's pretty easy to rout them out.

Like you say, it looks great for early development work. I'm surprised hackers could get access, I'd have thought it'd be locked down so tightly. That's the scary thing I suppose - hackers always seem to be one step ahead.

Had Rockstar even acknowledged they were even working on GTA 6? I mean, it was obvious they would be, but I can't remember them actually confirming it before this statement.

With so many working remotely and there always being potential holes to get into a devs machine it's not too surprising.

Although the person behind it who tried to blackmail rockstar to stop releasing more and the source code seems pretty dumb. Wouldn't be suprised if they're arrested soon.

I’m excited for it! Let’s just hope it receives better treatment than GTAO and RDR2 are getting right now. Since last July, RDR2 has had no updates and GTAO has had 2 (the last one wasn’t even an update, just a few overdue / positive changes made). I wouldn’t care if they just came out and said they are busy working on GTA6. It’s the lack of communication with fans that annoys me.

Yeah agreed regarding their lack of communication.

I'm completely against hacking for obvious reasons, but I wouldn't be surprised if Rockstar's refusal to communicate at least partly inspired the hacker. If they just said they were working on it and released a tiny teaser trailer that'd be enough for the fanbase.

Could even have been a pissed off worker, they are still doing hybrid work so would be easy to screw them over from home

I can see that as being a possible motive. What the hacker did was completely unacceptable, yet probably avoidable. I have started to notice the lack of interest they have towards fans for a while now. All they seem to care about now is making as much money as possible whilst putting in the least effort.

The problem is that if you announce a game too soon, people start getting pissed off that it's not out for X years or when it's delayed - games are delayed all the time during development but you want to get as much time as possible to develop it BEFORE it's announced so all the snags and delays are not public. In a previous life I worked in gaming and one massive project we did was delayed by almost a year, but the public never knew about it because it wasn't announced until after the delays were clear to the development team.

They'll be under some pressure now to start releasing details that probably aren't ready and it creates a risk of rushing the product out because now people expect it.

If you look for them on Twitter you'll probably find most of them!
I’ve viewed a few and I’m hoping there is a lot more work to be done because what I’ve seen isn’t blowing me away. But I’ve only seen about 15 seconds if that of the videos do it could be much better. I just hope they change what the girl is wearing because her outfit is uggggly.
Looks like it’s based on or inspired by Vice City? That had my favourite radio show of all time, Pressing Issues on VCPR with Maurice Chavez!

On to a different game, I’ve started playing Mafia 2 and I frigging hate that I can’t save when I want, I’ve got to let the game save for me. I don’t get long blocks of time to play so I often play 15 minutes here, 30 minutes there. Which might be enough for some people but I am absolutely *rubbish* at first person shooter games unless they have auto aim. I will shoot everything but the target.

I agree with this, I'd rather games don't say anything rather than realise a coming soon or a date an then keep pushing it back

I got pissed when they did that with cyberpunk an now with hogwarts legacy

I’m also pissed that we’ve gone from the fine specimen of a man that was Tommy Vercetti to what looks like the local MAGA crack dealer.
