I haven't got any mods

Before I had my pc I only ever played it on console an loved it, but once I got it for pc an learned how to mod it changed my world now I find I just can't go back to console, it's ruined me, my fave mods are the stardew expanded, anime portraits, an faster movement, but I do have a ton added in like dates, market days, new characters, special events for Halloween an Xmas etc, new farms, different designs for houses, new furniture etc

It actually was harder. I saw a games developer saying that moving the game over to the latest platform but with essentially the controls of the old game meant the whole thing was out of sync and why so many found it impossible. People played the PS1 game to compare to see if it was the same and the PS1 was a lot easier.

Thanks, that’s made me feel much better. I honestly tried with the joycons, a cheap wireless controller and then a pro-controller

Does anyone have a steam deck? I've got a couple of long haul flights coming up and think it would be good entertainment (and have plenty of games on my steam already that I could use)

Thanks that's great, I'll take a look an also be sure to wishlist so I can get kept notified for sales, hoping I can hook up my console controllers to it as well as I don't know how I'd feel with mouse an keyboard lol

Do you still need to preorder GTA, even if it's digital? I thought preorder would mostly be for physical.

As others have said, the benefit of pre-ordering digitally is that it should be ready to play on launch, right there on your console/PC.
The other benefit is that pre-orders often come with bonus content.

I own a switch but play both PC and Xbox.
I used to be only PC but then when my PC broke, I couldn't get another and ended up with an Xbox so went for Xbox for years and then finally got a new PC 2 years ago and have gone back to that!

I guess you notice a difference between the PC and the Series X! I think consoles are good for people who don't want to keep up to date with the latest PC hardware.

I have a clunky old laptop which runs some things like Stardew or Sims 4. I’ve also got PS5, Switch and late last year got a Steam Deck. I prefer playing handheld on the sofa now though

I keep forgetting about the Steam Deck! I've got a Switch but I mostly play it docked, yet one of my friends plays his Switch handheld about 90% of the time.

We’ve literally just reinstated ours after cancelling for a few months and will probably be cancelling again. Crazy price increase.

Yeah I cancelled as well, there's no way am paying that, I already played so little on it, it was more a way for me to try out new games, but now it's all quantity over quality, it's been getting spammed with the same 2d side scroller indi games which now all count towards the 75 day one releases they are talking about, which means you are probably talking about maybe 5 to 10 decent games per year which just isn't worth it I feel

An honestly hate how they have decided to basically force you to pay for the other subscriptions that were probably losing money for them, I have 0 interest in Fortnite, couldn't really care about Unisoft classics an EA had been in the toilet for a while now, but yet they want us to pay for them

I had done a little of my first town, then decided to go on an just complete the story an now I wished I had just left everything till the end like you DEFINITELY want to to get through the story first before decorating, trust me

Yes it's next gen only. Which I guess explains they the trailer looked so good haha. They probably didn't want to be constrained by the ps4s technology. Tbf ps5 has been out a while I've just not wanted one as have so many ps4 games still to play through

They’re really amazing, I’ve used mine almost daily since I got it. Even if you do get smaller one, your games will backup to the cloud if you need to remove any for space.

I haven’t done it yet but you’ll be able to mod your Stardew on it too

Oh nice that's really cool, honestly I don't think I could go back to vanilla stardew anymore I've modded it so much on pc that it would feel weird without the mods

Does anyone else play my time at sandrock online? Decided to try the online version as it's also on gamepass, would like to open my game to get more people in as it's getting more time consuming to do the co-op builds, so just wondering if I do open it

Can they access my chests?
I know it's shared gols, can they spend them all? Or can I limit/put a block on it?
If they leave do they take whatever was on them with them? Or does it go into the public storage?
Can they pick what builds we are doing?

There doesn't seem to be much info online an the game really doesn't tell you a lot either, just don't want to open my game, have someone spend all the gols, fill their inventory full of stuff an choose builds that's going take forever then leave the game

So I enjoyed it. It takes a while to figure out how it all works but once you get I to it, it's good. I'll buy it. I don't think it will be for everyone though.

There's definitely some stuff to iron out before it's released. In some missions it's not clear at all what you're meant to do and prompts flash so quickly they are gone before you can read them properly.

A lot of similarities to Black Flag in terms of the sailing, naval combat. But the land based stuff was much more sparse and not as fun.

Does anyone have young kids that game? My neice is 3 an right now she's obsessed with bee simulator as she can burst balloons an sting people on the butt (not part of the actual gameplay btw lol) so I was wondering what else is out there for the young ones, I have both game pass an ps premium, we tried some my little pony an for a while she was fine but I think it got a bit too repetitive with gathering stars

She doesn't get a lot of screen time so looking for games that don't have a ton of story attached to them an are more actual gameplay, I think she's still a way off from games like Minecraft an technically it's not her playing it's me but she thinks it's her lol

The bluey game is on Game Pass at the minute

I've gotten hooked on it, it's such a cute little game, I really enjoyed playing Astros playroom when I got my ps5, but the games even better, am honestly tempted to get the controller but don't know if it's only reactive to astro games or if other games have that built in as well

I went back to wuthering waves an arknights for now wuwa just released their 3.1 update today an am trying 100% my areas in ark before their 1.2 update, I might go back to pokopia at the weekend, I have all the event stuff anyway for it
