Kristen always had a bad attitude in general. I really don't care if she stays vegan or not, but she sees herself as so superior to others and she can't take criticism. Most of her videos are self-indulgent word salad. She's now eating a 'high-vibrational diet' whatever that is.
I'm always reminded of that scene in Nottingham hill where the woman is describing how she's a fruitarian, seems tame compared to the madness that exists around food nowadays 🤣

As for the Vegan queens. He’s Always trying to send traffic to it. It’s utterly abysmal, and creepy at the same time.
He's very open about how he wants to grow both channels, in a way that's drawing back the curtain too much and just feels very cheap. I wish he would edit his videos more. I find it irritating when youtubers talk about channel analytics too much with their subscribers. It just feels very transactional. Make content people actually want to watch, and hope the algorithm picks you up. He'll probably use the money the fools are sending him to buy subs at some point.

He's doing so "well" with his views as people can't stop watching such a car crash. I worry what his end game will be.

I once took a look in his comments, didn't delve far but the majority I saw were young girls with ED, boasting how long they had gone without food, watching him eat so they didn't need to, scary

Absolutely love Helena, she seems so happy and genuine and has a good education.

Also there is something in Miles I like but I feel like he has seriously stretched his stomach out to eat so much. There is also his friend, Anna Winstone, who's videos I really enjoy and recommend. She has a small channel at the moment but it shows some growth. She used to live with Helena.
Yep totally agree! I like Anna's videos too. I also like her collabs with Miles and I'm excited for more content together now that she's moved close to his place. They seem to have a really genuine friendship and they're hilarious together. I like how 'normally' Helena eats tbh, it's so refreshing to watch. Basically a standard Western diet but veganised, without all the superfoods and niche products. I think she's a really good representation of what a regular, unfussy, not hyper-privileged vegan diet can look like.

I'm not sure how I feel about those vegan guys. Sometimes I laugh and other times I'm just annoyed 😂 I'm not really interested in the allotment stuff.
Not remotely interested in the gardening stuff! TBH, I find them more and more irritating as time goes on, and increasing grabby.

What makes you think that Simnett Nutrition is anti-vax? Maybe he doesn't take the vaccinate for himself (I don't know, I haven't heard about it), but I don't believe he's really anti vaccination in general. Avantgardevegan I stopped following a long time ago.

I recently discovered a (for me) new channel by the name Sweet Greens Vegan. I adore her so much. 10/10 recommending. I also love she's a (VERY BEAUTIFUL, like she's STUNNING) black woman promoting a vegan diet in stead of your typical skinny white girl (literally me lol), she just cooks like normal people and she's so sassy. I love her attitude. I can listen to her talk all day, I swear.
This is her latest video:

I thought that too. He might not be straight up anti vax but I have been getting some vibes from him for a while. Either way, someone shared on reddit that he posted some dubious stuff on his stories once regarding mandates and "trusting his immune system" over a vaccine. He also follows a the freedom convoy IG and poc for freedom convoy IG, which even if you don't support vaccine mandates, I think these pages are just quite hateful and nasty and can't imagine anyone wanting to publicly support that.

I don't know what it is about vegans but so many of them seem to think they're superior to all the non-vegans out there....annoys me so much!

YouTube keeps recommending Julia Ayers to me and she is a bit annoying so I don’t generally watch them. But I was bored and watched a what I eat in a week. I found myself getting so irritated that she constantly refers to herself as we! I hate when youtubers do that because I’m a crotchety old bag 😂

Vegan Beauty Girl's latest video is an unboxing of the Holland and Barrett advent calendar with no AD or mention of the fact she was clearly sent it for review

I did enjoy Sustainably Vegan's recent video about not being perfect about sustainability all the time. I'm really interested to see how her content changes when she moves to America.

They didn’t get burgled at home. It was a few years back, and I think it took place at some work do or some such. He’s milked it for all its worth. He says he has ptsd from it, and refers to it as the ‘horror’😂
I got the distinct impression that Jason would have gone to vegan camp out, but Paul wasn’t having any of it!
Also, how many bloody times does he have to keep saying ‘my husband’ when he refers to Jason. Yes
we know. So what?

Yes, I have always felt Jil strives to be super thin. That's the vibe I would get from all of her old youtube videos.

Anyone else watch Emily Ewing? I think shes struggling financially. She seems to be living on her own now and is a FT youtuber afaik. She keeps doing I am not buying groceries unless i have to videos which the more she does the more its coming across like she has no money, In the latest one she cut her own hair badly. I know she moved back with her parents at one point but she's back on her own now in what seems to be a huge place from the size of the kitchen (yes I do know US homes tend to be larger). I have never heard her mention a job but then she doesn't post that much to bring in income that way.Almost all her videos are sponsored usually by Thrive which is another way for getting free food. And she says shes not sleeping because of a situation she wishes was better.

I hope i'm wrong cos she seems nice enough
Yes and I mentioned the same issues you are mentioning here before. She seems so nice and has such a passion and love for animals and I find her very endearing.
I enjoy her videos, have been watching her for years by now but I agree, ever since her roommate moved out she's struggling. On top of that she also got a dog. And im not judging her or anything but pets are so expensive, I wonder if this was a good decision for her to do. I have a feeling she's not good with money, she often buys soooo much food and stuff. When she does these clear out/tidying up/eating what i have etc. videos im always so SHOCKED at how much stuff she has hoarded since the last time. Like why buy so much stuff? And i know she gets some stuff gifted/sponsored but most of the things she did buy herself because it was on clearance/sale/she wanted it/*vibes*. For one person she buys way and way too much stuff to eat before it goes bad, also because she frequently visits her family too for a few days. I think she could make a lot healthier financial decisions.
I have a feeling this is her only income (+ things like tiktok/ig maybe), so I understand she's struggling.
She seems very "my pace" and a little bit slow you know? I think she would struggle quite a bit in a normal work setting, so I get that she prefers doing whatever she wants but at some point you have to really sit there and think about it if this is something you can manage long term. I don't understand why she doesn't get a part time job on the side, Im sure there's something she can do. There are always people who need a cleaner or someone to walk their dogs. Just a few hours a week would maybe help financially.

I have been cutting my own hair for 10-15 years now, it's definitely a learning curve. First time I tried wasn't the best work but if you keep doing it you'll get a lot better at it. I can cut my own hair really well now and it has saved me an insane amount of money. I hope she will keep giving it a try and doesn't feel embarrassed about it because it's not something to be ashamed off.
Same goes with her financial struggles, definitely not something to feel ashamed off, a lot of us are struggling out there. Maybe if she shares a bit about it she can find some emotional support online, maybe get some advice etc.

I hope she finds her way, she seems so lovely and I truly wish her the best.

The whole RT4 thing looking back, one thing that annoyed me was there was never any consideration to sustainability or human rights, it was all about being "lean" and not a "handbag basic" (real mature DR).
That's the thing that gets me about Freelee. If it was truly about the animals, as she keeps saying, why keep banging the drum about this ridiculous diet? She's wanging on about a frugivore diet nowadays and the likes of Miles are still kissing her arse. The vegan for health (regardless of how they dressed it up at the time) crowd have a lot to answer for.

I quite like Nicole's content, the pouting is a bit grating and I do say that as a bisexual woman who loves a sexy brunette but you know if I really wanted to see that type of content, there are websites for that.
I miss her beauty videos, I actually came across her while looking for reviews of Floral Street perfumes.
I don't mind the podcast, I think she's a good host but don't tune in for every single episode.
What really worried me lately - and it's probably projecting my personal relationships with drinking, but I do also have very close friend who is a few years older than Nicole and is a barely functioning alcoholic - is the amount od drinking she does in the latest what I eat in a week. Glass of wine casually with lunch at home. Glass day later in the recording studio because she was stressed about the podcast. And then recording herself making something to eat whilst really drunk after the comedy show... I don't want to see drunk Nicole. She could have shortened the drunken section and done a voiceover once sober There might be brands who might decide they won't work with her because of that. She wasn't even tipsy, she was quite drunk. It's so easy for young women to develop addiction, influencers should be more careful what they put out. And I'm not an old grumpy woman, I'm in my 30s but have been noticing a lot of problematic drinking in myself and others.
