Yeah it's the vocal majority of us on social media. Pretty much every vegan I know in real life are chill.I don't know what it is about vegans but so many of them seem to think they're superior to all the non-vegans out there....annoys me so much!
I like his recipes but I find him a bit arrogant.i don't know if he fits the category but avantgarde vegan is my absolute favorite![]()

He's broken a lot of trust with people like us who maybe used to watch him back before all this. I wish him well, but I won't be going back to watching his contentI was always surprised about the large amounts of high quality groceries he bought year round. I know you can prioritize and spend less on clothes or travel, etc., but you need to have a solid income to be that carefree about consuming several kilos of tropical fruit, avocados, and masses of nut butters on a daily basis.
I get that it was difficult for Miles to own up to his addiction while it was happening, but I'm still upset about the many ways in which he lied to his followers. He once spoke about how his life must look like a holiday to others, because he only showed himself lounging in the sun with Jil, eating lots of fruit, when in fact most moments of his days were filled with work (whatever that means... I have no idea what he actually does). But truthfully, according to his latest video, the moments he showed must have been the few ones in which he wasn't experiencing severe pain. So many things don't add up. The feedback under his video is extremely positive and supportive, but I feel that it will be difficult to really trust Miles after this. It's like he is wiping the slate clean with the admission of his chemical dependency, but actually he is not.
I love Mina Rome, NikkiVegan, Veggiekins, East meets kitchen, Sarah's vegan kitchen, Gittemary Johansen, Good Eatings, Unnatural Vegan, Pickuplimes, Jess Beautician, Simnet Nutrition, sweet simple vegan...Normal vegan people recs would be lovely.I used to follow quite a few, but so many of them ended up changing their content to stuff I wasn't interested in or disappearing...
Yes he’s an over reacting, irritable, defensive arse, he’s more than happy to take from subs with their Amazon wish list etc, which is very cheeky, but blocks people for the least little disagreement. He sounds like he smokes 80 a day, so no wonder he has a shadow on his lung, it was probably his bad attitude that got him sacked from his job.Anyone noticed that Jason of those vegan guys does this weird sniffing thing where he wrinkles his nose all the time. I find it really annoying!
paul’s last couple of vids are yet more naval gazing.Self absorbed arse!
He might eat all he makes, but it's a lot of high volume low calorie food and I do believe he over-exercises. As a young man with a substantial amount of muscle mass his caloric needs will be quite high!I don't know, why, but I feel like Jil doesn't eat at all. Miles is always cooking only for himself and I, tbh, doubt, he eats all that he makes? Also justifying losing weight doesn't sit right with me, he actually looks hella malnourished.
Honestly, he's a fucking idiot. He made a YT following primarily by offering a (probably pseudo) educated view on vegan nutrition, then he pulls shit like this. He shouldn't have any kind of platform, he thinks he knows better but look where it gets him.... When watching the video, I thought Kratom was a prescription opioid. I just read a little bit about it, and it turns out that kratom is a fairly unresearched plant substance which has not been proven to be safe or effective for any medical purpose, though it has been used in traditional medicine. The effects only partially compare to those of opioids. This is congruent with his anti-vax stance and generally knowing better than scientists and medical professionals. I can't believe Miles' hubris led him into such a dangerous situation.
Wow. Reading this now. I can't believe she is making herself out to be the victim - of basically everything and everyone. She pretends to have been young, gullible, impressionable when she decided to become vegan, she must not have had any form of free will. I remember discovering Freelee's videos as well (I was already vegan), and she had a negative impression on me from the start. She and Durian Rider were just obnoxious people, vegan or not. The tone of Kristen's text is so disrespectful towards the vegan philosophy, trying to turn it into a joke to make her own actions less serious. It doesn't even make sense. If she really had to change her diet for health reasons (yeah, as if), she would not need to ridicule how she became vegan in the first place. She could still encourage everyone without health problems to eat plant based. But she needs to shit on the cause. And she's exaggerating and falsifying. Bonnie Rebecca did receive criticism and hate, but she also got a lot of support from people who were against veganism and celebrated her for her omnivore diet. I really can't take Kristen seriously, her behavior is way too immature and irrational.Kristen Leo, no longer vegan...

I feel like this is relevant to so many vegan youtubers! I also found veganism while recovering from an ED and I guess the restrictions it creates are appealing, but I was receiving pretty good care and found a healthy way to live vegan without my ED. I also have always had a strong aversion to dairy.I think he is still very obsessed with food, I wonder how over his ED he actually is.
