I’ve started to dip in and out of those vegan guys again. Can’t decide if I like them or not! Anyone watch them?

Really loving watching smaller youtubers recently and hoping they will blow up. :) Thanks for your suggestions too by the way!

just hopping in here to do a quick straw poll after a comment in another thread. someone claimed that a lot of vegans still cook meat and have it in their fridge..

Anyone?!!!!!
Certainly not me!

Is that people who end up cooking non-vegan stuff for their families?

I've followed both Miles and Emma (before she disappeared) and had no idea they were ever going out. When was this?
I believe around 2018. she first started talking about him in one of her vlogs when she used his tagline "apply to face" and said miles is someone dear to her heart, and he uploaded a Q&A video later (which should still be up) where he talked about dating her.

They were never going out. OP is mistaken.
of course they were lol... I vividly remember when they broke up and she talked about keeping things private etc... brb pulling up his q&a if he didn't delete it

btw I know he's joking in the comments but she posted a story on her ig a few months later that they broke up. as I mentioned above she wanted to keep things private etc. after that he never mentioned her again and she never mentioned him. so 😐
hard to believe it was just a friendship if youre taking to social media to announce that you've ended your "relationship". obviously I cannot prove that as I did not screenshot her story or anything but yall have to believe I guess

The fact that many (I assume) ethical vegans are able to accept animal cruelty in others for the reason that diet is personal, you don't try to change people, etc., shows just how little value the lives of animals still have even in the minds of vegans.
I take offence at this tbh, I'm vegan mainly for health reasons but I also care about animal rights/animal cruelty and OF COURSE I exclude all animal products from my diet/body. How does this mean that I don't value the lives of animals because my partner eats meat? Or because I am with someone who chooses to eat meat? My partner being a meat eater doesn't mean I think he is a bad person, or that he doesn't care about animals either. My partner is tolerant of my diet, he will very happily share vegan meals with me, eat at vegan restaurants, etc but when we do go out as long as there is a vegan option I'm not fussed and neither is he. I'm a laid back person, I think it would be very miserable to be so intolerant of others, where does it end? Some vegans don't allow food in their fridge, find it difficult watching family members eat meat. I sit in a busy staff room on my lunch break at work, I'm the only vegan, if I took offence at what others were eating it would just be uncomfortable and awkward? So my question is why be offended? Just let them eat what they want. I'm not eating the food myself, they made that choice. I'm not 'accepting' animal cruelty at all by doing this. What would be the alternative? Refuse to eat in the same room as them? Remind them they are eating a dead animal while they tuck into their chicken?

I followed so many vegan youtubers back in 2015-16. Man they brainwashed me. Brianna Jackson, Fruitarian Elle, Freelee and Harley , the unnatural vegan (kinda liked her), Rawvana, Fully Raw Kristina etc..
Unnatural Vegan went full anti-BLM and started making super questionable content last year. The only one who has literally remained the same is Kristina- she still makes huge portions of raw food (although she does eat more protein now, there does look to be more balance in her FDOE videos)

I've not followed her recently, but Brianna has since become very preoccupied with the gym and has in the past posted photos of herself looking (probably unhealthily) lean.
She has a thread, but it's dead because she's gone offline again.

Such a shame, always liked him 🙁 not keen on him and jil
Also did I make this up or did he used to have clients as a nutritionist and work for the NHS? Or was he private? Either way, not sure if he still does that but hope they're getting good advice.

I have really been enjoying Goodeatings' videos, especially their sustainable travel videos are just so incredibly beautiful! And also very interesting and informative. It was like taking a mini holiday myself, it was shot so incredibly beautifully. They combine veganism and sustainability in such a great way.
Also loving how they kept their wedding (mostly) to themselves, they look and sound like such a great couple.

Miles becoming an anti vaxxer is not a surprise imo, a lot of vegans seem to be at the moment, I don;t know if anyone follows Taira's family (they rarely post tbh) but I am pretty sure she is anti covid vaccine too. I hadn't followed miles in ages, I am pleased he made a video about the unfairness of trans people competing in women;s sports though as most people in the public eye seem to be ignoring it

He's been doing that for years, I couldn't figure out if it was a close family member or a coach (or a coach who was a family member?) I don't know how I feel about youtubers breadcrumbing this sort of thing.
He’s def talked about his dad being abusive in the past

Anyone watch Vegan Geezer a few years ago? He made a lot of ethical vegan content and then did a bizarre switch to family vlogging. Called Family Freedom or something like that now?
