If there was a medical emergency on a plane and they asked for a doctor, she’d definitely stand up just to brag about the fact she’s a doctor, albeit not a medical one 🙄

The multiple conference style poster photos of each of her graduations at that party...I can't cope! Those will have cost 100s to print . And where will they go afterwards? This is INSANE. What the actual ffffffff?!

And she's shared about 50 things on her stories within 24 hours about it. Bloody hell her ego has got worse since the last time I checked her page properly, which was probably about a year ago.

I bet she's insufferable.

Seriously lots of money spent on celebrating something many people manage to do.
Her family seem to enable this and over praise. It's bizarre.

For someone who proclaims to bridge the equality and privilege gaps in education she’s gotta funny way of showing it. Not exactly humble!

I’ve NEVER seen a story that long… that’s insane self obsession.

I get her family do tend to celebrate each other often and there may be a cultural element too, however the self obsession and ME ME ME is so off putting! Not one humble bone in her. I’m suprised there wasn’t a giant timeline banner with a mcdonalds logo to show how ‘far’ she’s come from such a horrific, terrible background. And also very funny how she never gloats as much about claremont the way she does about oxford and harvard, because she clearly cares more about the name and how it looks on her resume.

so she announced she's having a graduation party the size of a wedding (200 guests). even so, she's been doing cake tests to choose the best one for this event. according to her, 'we must all be outrageous in how we celebrate young women's academic achievements especially in a world where in some countries it is still a crime to send girls to school!' ok, but, that wasn't her experience? i mean, it would make so much sense to see malala do something like that, but not her? i don't want to diminish vee's achievements but, ESPECIALLY in a world where other girls are not able to study, having a 200 guests-sized graduation party seems extremely tone deaf and obnoxious
Do we know who was invited to the graduation party? Speaking of Malala and girls' education, I think holding such a big event could've worked if Vee had made the event into a group celebration of other young women in higher ed who've overcome poverty etc. So then it's not just celebrating herself; it's highlighting the achievements of a whole group of women. Maybe that's what she did?

God, this is wayyyy too much. She can't get enough of the spotlight! I wonder what Malala thinks of all this self-patriotism. The absolute cringe. And now Jade is inspired by her. Great, another inflated ego celebrating its inflated-ness.

i'm now FIVE posts deep. I'm speechless. The multiple angles of her strutting around is...I've never seen ANYthing like it. The outfit changes, the multiple entrances, her face plastered every where in multiple sizes. It's never enough. She's gonna throw an anniversary party of this party just to relive the attention. The hole she's trying to fill must be a black hole. I don't think Martin Luther King Jr, Princess Diana, or even Malala, for that matter, could ever spend this much energy, time, and money on themselves. Would she have done all this if social media didn't exist, and she could never show off what she did? I think not.

It's mad, isn't it!

It's okay to pat hourself on the back once in a while for a job well done, but this madam books conference venues to host wedding-scale parties for herself like every year, getting her face printed onto conference style posterboards, balloons everywhere, dancing in graduation robes after graduation day, travels with all her framed diplomas to pose with them on a bench...

It's too much!

Pride comes before a fall. Do her other family members get such attention?

I just can't understand it. When I graduated my BA, my parents bought me a coffee, 😂 and then we drove home. I don't like much praise anyway, I tend to shrivel up inside when people over compliment me. But what Vee keeps doing is WAY WAY WAY over the top and almost setting herself up on a pedestal as some god. But the kicker is...she doesn't even do proper work! She's an instagram face for hire and word-salad spinner.

Way too much. Imagine being her future partner, she'd be all MeMeMe 🤢

It's sad because I actually know people of colour who used to be inspired by her before she went absolutely off the rails in arrogance and self-obsession. And I remember these people making posts at how sad and disappointed they were in Vee being this way and that they no longer wanted to support or follow her. So she's actually lost fans over this kind of behaviour which is wild because she could still be this self-obsessed with her family and not post stories about it and we would be none the wiser. But it seems she has an insatiable and massively over the top need for validation which is why she does this. And tbh, it smacks of insecurity because someone who's genuinely comfortable and secure in their achievements doesn't feel the need to screech about them all the time.

She deletes any form of criticism and refuses to listen to anyone who questions what she does or why she does it. Apparently if you think it’s too much you’re against women celebrating themselves, which is completely wrong. Being ‘unapologetic’ isn’t a shield to hide behind and also expect people to respect your self obsession

As someone who has known her for many years (never been close), who attended the same establishment she claimed to be so badly treated by and was actually the golden child of every teacher cause she was so far up their a I’m surprised they didn’t mistake her for a growth; she’s always been this way. It’s always been the Vee show and nobody else😂 she claims she went to such a horrific place, where it was actually quite the opposite. She’s not the only one to come out with degrees and doctorates, the rest of us just aren’t parading them around like it’s our wedding day🫪 of course it’s something to be proud of by my god, the vanity and the money she has used on that celebration really could have been used to make a difference somewhere else because I’d imagine it’s in the thousands
