An honest question. She wrote in one of her last posts that she’s gone from writing 5000 word essays to meeting the king. Not saying that she’s making that up but I honestly wonder how phds in America work. Where I come from when doing a phd u do your own research, try to publish some papers (or in reality being desperate to do so bc everything depends on it) and have only some discussion based classes. I’ve nerved heard doing „homework“ for a phd. Is it that different? Plus phd positions are usually paid, u are employed by the university.
American PhDs generally involve coursework/classes for the first couple years. Plus the dissertation, maybe publishing some papers, going to conferences, TA work etc. As a result of the coursework they often take a bit longer than a European/UK PhD.
Hardly call meeting the King a flex. Doesn’t he like, visit schools and random places? Many people have met him. He also is racist.

My instinct is she was really disruptive in class - that's normally what people mean when they say teachers "bullied them for talking too much," right? Clearly very different from going on the paid speaker circuit. Time and place!!
I don't like praying on anyone's downfall but she's kind of bringing it on herself with the insane amounts of hubris and bragging combined with very little actual activism on behalf of the people she claims to be helping. She isn't even breaking 10k on her channel atm - there's no way all this will last until the end of her PhD

Teachers don't bully students for talking too much. She's means she got in trouble for talking when she shouldn't be, interrupting and disrupting.
But poor victim vee who rose like a phoenix from the ashes of her underprivileged childhood she had with no resources or support given to her could never do any wrong!

She keeps saying that, plus also that she was told she wouldn't get into Oxford. Perhaps she was told that by an exasperated teacher asking her to stop chatting in class.

Her instagram posts remind me of amazon emails. One for logging on, another for placing an order, 20 more for each thing being dispatched, then 10000 more asking for reviews afterwards. Why can’t she just post one or two about something and leave it at that? She’s incapable of being humble

Her insane and constant boasting is absolutely insufferable, it's clearly coming from a place of deep insecurity of not feeling good enough or validated. Because someone who's genuinely comfortable with their success and achievements doesn't feel the need to allude to them all the time or name drop. I found it hilarious though that she was really called out for putting Dr in her name on linkedin after receiving the honorary doctorate from Bradford. Loads of people in the comments were saying she won't be taken seriously for putting Dr there when it's not a doctorate she earned or actually worked towards. She didn't reply to most or any of them but it seems like those posts got to her because she finally removed the Dr title from her linkedin name. The fact she was so quick to put Dr there was very revealing that she's just doing all of this to have the title and the sense of prestige she thinks it'll give her, I don't think she's even that passionate about the PhD itself. Do you really think she'd do it if she wasn't going to get the Dr title at the end of it? No chance. And I say this as someone who's done a PhD, by far the most rewarding part is the research itself, the novelty of being able to call yourself a doctor wears off days after the viva.

I don't know of anyone who counts down the day until their PhD ends in the way she does, like it's a chore. No one is under the illusion it's a fun and always positive process, but it's quite clear she hates it and wants it over so she has more time for movie premieres, vacations, socialising, and oh yeah giRLs eDuCaTiOn
Her latest vlog she's FUMING because she got up late because she was on her phone late then chose to still get all her steps in before her class making her late to class. Whilst moaning in bed that she was late ... She then preceded to lay in bed and continue to moan about it this making herself even more late...
