We have just been to Glastonbury and desperately want to go again next year but won’t with a small baby. If we are lucky enough to be pregnant when tickets go on sale we won’t bother (if due before) but if I’m pregnant at the time then we will probably get tickets! I don’t think you should cancel any plans you can take a baby to, travelling abroad with a baby is surprisingly easier than you think compared to a toddler 😂

For those who have ttc for a while.. do you ever struggle to envision yourself actually having a baby? How do you keep that motivation/hope going? It’s been so long that the thought of me actually having a full term pregnancy with a baby to hold at the end of it seems unrealistic! I focus so hard on trying to get pregnant but then the hard work of maintaining that pregnancy kicks in mentally. Sorry if this makes no sense… just some rambling thoughts I’m having to myself this Friday morning!
Sorry if this is unrelatable but I've been feeling the same lately more so the fact I'll not be able to become pregnant due to my condition. It still hurts a lot though knowing ill never carry a child, however lately my worry has been very low egg count for my age and wondering if it'll even be my own child a surrogate carries or if I'll have to adopt or use an egg donor. I've really struggled to keep positive, some days I have no hope at all but other days I have a little bit.

I think a big part of it for myself is accepting the situation for what it is. Its really hard but I've started to accept the fact that even if I don't have my own biological child and I have to use an egg donor or adopt, I'll still be a mother and love that child no less. That there are ways around struggles even if it's not the traditional route I hoped for. I've grieved over something that I've not even had - it's really strange I can't describe it.

Sorry if I've gone off on a tangent and it's not very relatable but I just wanted to voice what's gone on lately in my head. I really hope everyone on here who wants to have a child and be a mother finds there way someday ❤❤

Ps. If there's any other threads which may be better for me to use please let me know x

Another day, another AF no show and BFN. I had to take the day off work today because I felt like I had covid but had a negative test and the symptoms vanished in the evening. I had the worst runny nose that was making me cough, I was sweating loads and so tired. I've literally had 3 naps today. Wish I knew what was going on with my body.

I feel your pain with that. Both my brother and nephew ended up getting girls pregnant accidentally - well, as much as it is an accident when you're unprotected 🤦🏻‍♀️ My 25yr old brother has sorted himself out now, is in a relationship with the mother and my niece is 18mths old. But my nephew is 19, unemployed and mixed up in all kinds of trouble and the baby is due in August. So it really boils my piss that I'm 33, married and financially responsible and was having to pee on sticks not knowing my arse from my elbow. Good luck to you, we got our BFP in March and now I'm pretty much a bag of anxiety every day 🙈
I feel your pain with that too - my friend got pregnant twice by accident within a year and ended the pregnancy both times and it’s a very painful reminder of something I want so badly and can’t seem to have

I'm at an event with lots of families and trying to enjoy sitting with an alcoholic drink 🤣 instead of feeling sad I'm not here with my own children

In line with this I came home from work today with a really bad headache I’m 11DPO that just hasn’t shifted all day so gave into temptation and tested which resulted in this…

I can definitely see a line, can you see it too? Trying my best not to build my hopes up but already been emotional! 🙈 I’ve felt all sorts of symptoms since my ovulation date so it would make sense but I know what my luck is like! I also know these tests aren’t the best!

I can see a line too! I think that’s a good line for 11DPO and not FMU. Congratulations ❤

I’ve had my appointment at the fertility clinic. I’ve been prescribed a low dose of clomid for 3 months then if that doesn’t work I’m to go back for bloods in October and they may prescribe a higher dose for another 3 months. If that doesn’t work they’ll discharge me from NHS care and we will need to decide if we want to fund IVF privately. I’m quite happy with that plan and I don’t think it will hurt to try clomid before biting the bullet.

Interestingly, the doctor told me to stop using OPKs and tracking BBT. She said she finds it causes more stress than it’s worth and if we have sex every other day we won’t miss the peak. She also told me to stop taking all supplements aside from folic acid and vitamin D. I’m going to follow her advice for the next few months as clearly my methods haven’t worked yet 🤣

So no period today but tested and BFN. I expect I'm having a slightly longer cycle and will get my period in the next few days 😭

11DPO and a BFN. Period due in 2 days but can’t see a sign of her yet. Lots of creamy CM and vivid dreams and a bit tired, but yeah no sign of a bloating prior or AF...

I’ve just had my first acupuncture session. I actually really enjoyed it. Some of it was a bit ‘woo woo’ but a lot of things the lady said made sense, and it was very relaxing. I even had a little snooze 😂 I’m going to give it a couple of months and see how I get on 🤞🏻

I wake up quite early for work so did a test as still so signs of AF, it was another BFN 🥲 this is the first month I’ve been upset and cried about it, 6 months hit me hard! Sorted myself out then AF arrived with a vengeance, which made me even more upset! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Although I did tell myself if I was negative then I’d be treating myself to a nice bottle of wine I’d always wanted to try 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had the same, thought it was a period but it disappeared by the next morning. Realised a few days later that it was actually implantation bleeding.
Keeping everything crossed for you ❤

Ok so I caved and I grabbed a test from sainsburys whilst picking up the salad for our tea tonight. Didn’t get a clearblue because I promised myself I wouldn’t get a test anyway yet 😂 so got a cheapie £3 one. Now it’s come back with a faint line and Google is full of bad stories about false positives with these sainsburys ones so I’m none the wiser. What do you ladies think? Is it just evaporation line?

First photo is straight away, second photo is an hour later.

It definitely is hard. My sister is having a surprise baby and whilst I’m pleased for her, I’m really struggling at the constant baby talk. My family was my ‘safe space’ away from my friends who all have babies and young children 🥲 My parents know my situation and are very understanding but there’s lots of family members who keep telling me to get a move on now I’ve been leapfrogged by her being younger.

I wonder what it is that does that. Maybe it’s no good if there’s nothing to fix? I’m just sticking to taking individual vitamins now.

Also I can’t remember who it was who mentioned the hair analysis but I did mine and that was useful to know what vitamins were lacking and what to take.
It was me! I found my results really interesting, hopefully the vitamin boost will do the trick for you 🤞🏻

I’ve recently started testing at 12dpo each month just to see. I’ve been disappointed so far but I feel like I can have a moment then start waiting for the next cycle instead of getting my hopes up for another couple of days.

I’m about to enter my fertile window on my first clomid cycle. I haven’t noticed any side effects so far so I’m hoping it’s actually done something 😄

CD1 again for me. Hope everyone is doing okay ♥
Same, wouldn't say I am doing OK really, few more pregnancy announcements this week. Obviously everyone has copped that we are struggling and am now getting individual messages as opposed to girls just announcing it on the group, actually more upsetting cos I can't just reply with a generic congrats like you would in a group chat so through my tears I have to type up some nice reply but also try not get into a conversation cos I want to just end the conversation. I know it's nice and they think they are being sensitive but I would rather no special treatment

On the other hand one friend who I heard was pregnant and I had text to say congrats decided to send me bump updates, she lives abroad, big time difference so I woke up to those one morning and yes she knows we have been trying to conceive for a long time now

People just don't think

I have a wedding, a hen, a communion and a christening this month, dreading all of the them as I will have to see so many friends and family members who I have barely seen over the last two years, some of whom have had multiple babies in the time we have been trying

Just not able

Hi everyone. I'm a long time lurker of this thread - I've had accounts on tattle in the past but deleted them to try and stop reading about influencers I hate watch (didn't work XD) and once I found this thread I felt like I found my people and had to join in.

My husband and I have been trying for our first since December. I had a CP/early miscarriage in March which was really heart breaking. I use OPKs and BBT to track ovulation and I struggle with vaginismus to boot - we sometimes use at home insemination when necessary 🥴 Currently in my fertile window so peak hopefulness.
