Hi I’m really new to all of this. I’m getting married this year and will start trying for a baby after Christmas. I bought some of those OPK strip things from easy@home on Amazon. Is this a LH surge? I have had a bit of bloating today and a twingey pain on my RHS. I’m day 14 of my cycle. Also what thermometer should I be buying as there’s so many on Amazon and im a bit overwhelmed by it all?!
That’s defo a positive but keep testing because sometimes a high/positive isn’t the peak. Do you have the premom app? It’s good at interpreting the result.

I got the easy@home thermometer off Amazon, I don’t know what else is on offer I just got that one because premom was the only app I was using at the time but it serves its purpose and seems good quality…I wouldn’t really know what else to look for.

I’ve hit my peak but husband is reallllly ill with a cold. I can’t see us having sex for at least a few days so I’m a little gutted.

Changing my temperature to Fahrenheit from Celsius has also helped me understand my chart better now. I’d recommend it if you’re not bothered by the number but just looking at the waves.

I’m so glad I found this thread and I hope you ladies don’t mind me jumping on and having a bit of a ramble. I’m starting to get absolutely terrified to test now because I can’t handle the disappointment of a BFN ☹
I have two friends who fell pregnant to men from one night stands (no judgement - gorgeous children and luckily in lovely co-parenting situations now) but I just think HOW HOW HOW did this happen so easily and seemingly randomly for you both 😕

Anyway AF is due today - been having mild cramping this morning and I’m hoping to myself it’s the takeaway last night that’s upset my stomach a bit and not actually her!
Planning to test tomorrow morning if I’m still not on 🤞🏼

Also - has anyone on this thread got eczema? I have quite severe patches on my arms and upper body and I read that for lots of women pregnancy eases or even “cures” it completely? My eczema normally flares up badly before AF and this cycle it hasn’t at all - in fact it looks better than ever!? In saying that I think I’m just overthinking any potential sign that I’ve caught!

My friend had terrible eczema growing up. Beforehand, her mother had it badly but it disappeared when she gave birth. My friend no longer has it but her daughter now has it.

My sister had eczema that cleared up now she is pregnant. I hope this month is it for you ❤

I’m back at acupuncture today. This months period lasted for 4 days instead of my usual 2 so I’m hoping that something positive is going on in there! Counting down the days until 28th when I’m back at the fertility clinic.

Currently waiting on CD1 at the mo. This will be my first proper AF since coming off the pill which I was on pretty much since I was 17 and I’m 34 now as my last AF would technically still been a pretend pill one.
Had a bit of a trial run with some ovulation strips in the last cycle and not had any noticeable peaks so I’m kinda excited/anxious to get started with this new fresh cycle to see if things start to kick into action a bit more 🤞🏼

I feel your pain with that. Both my brother and nephew ended up getting girls pregnant accidentally - well, as much as it is an accident when you're unprotected 🤦🏻‍♀️ My 25yr old brother has sorted himself out now, is in a relationship with the mother and my niece is 18mths old. But my nephew is 19, unemployed and mixed up in all kinds of trouble and the baby is due in August. So it really boils my piss that I'm 33, married and financially responsible and was having to pee on sticks not knowing my a from my elbow. Good luck to you, we got our BFP in March and now I'm pretty much a bag of anxiety every day 🙈

I feel your pain with that too - my friend got pregnant twice by accident within a year and ended the pregnancy both times and it’s a very painful reminder of something I want so badly and can’t seem to have

I have my gp appointment tomorrow to discuss next steps as we have been ttc for a year pretty much.. I’ll update this thread once I have had it in case any one’s wondering or are nearing this side of things themselves 💕
I’m also thinking of journaling my ttc as I often find myself replaying my miscarriages over and over in my head.. has anyone tried journaling before? I don’t know how to actually ‘start’ writing if that makes sense 😂

My hopes for this month have faded as this week has gone on - still having the crazy dreams and now sore boobs, fatigue and general PMT has set in. Due on in 2 days. I've stopped testing early or even on due day because it's soul destroying and usually as soon as I pee on a stick AF shows up an hour later just to stick the boot in! 😩

I'm also due on in two days! I hate myself for symptom spotting, but this week I keep waking up at 5am for no apparent reason which is completely unlike me, and I also haven't had any spotting yet, whereas the last 6 months I seem to have spotting from 5 days before my period is due...we shall see. I'm going to stay strong and wait until 16th to test.

I'm due on on Friday and I've had nada, no cramps or breakouts or anything to indicate a period or pregnancy so we shall just see if anything turns up I guess 😂

Saturday for me. I had really sore boobs for a few days but it’s all gone today and my temp gone back down after Femometer detected a implantation dip on 8dpo. Never had that before but think it was nothing now that it’s down again.

BFN this morning ☹ Still no AF but assume it will appear at some point today.
My partner and I had stopped trying so intensely at the start of the year as I started a new job and wanted to focus there for a while, and we just decided to not prevent and see what happened. Really was hoping I wouldn’t have to go back to tracking and OPKs as it caused a lot of stress (as u all know).
Luckily I’m off work this week to enjoy the sun and I’m going to allow myself a day to feel sad and eat chocolate then get back on the horse as they say 🙁

I'm in the same boat as you, I started a new job in March and haven't been tracking/actively trying either but still hopeful lol. Enjoy the sun and the chocolate ❤

Unfortunately miscarriages are common and many aren’t even known as they happen before the mum takes a pregnancy test (aka chemical)… it’s awful to go through but doesn’t necessarily mean there is something wrong with you. How long have you been trying for? Endo often involves having heavy, irregular and painful periods..does this sound like you? Sending lots of love, it’s so bloody emotional and makes you second guess your body so take it easy ❤
