Anyone track bbt and have low temps? All cycle it’s been around the 35.85 mark, dropped down to 35.39 for one day and now I’ve ovulated it’s at 35.97 :/ I’ve read online that it might mean I have a problem with my thyroid?
That is true, and I know an under active thyroid doesn’t help with fertility 😓 try to get a test via your GP but you can buy a home test online to check your thyroid if you want it done quick x

*sorry just to add as bit of advice if you wasn’t doing it already, always take your temp in the morning when you wake up with your body at rest.

Hi everyone, sorry I’ve tried to Google and I’m not getting much in the way of clarity 🤣 I decided not to use OPK this month or do any tracking - almost have a clean month - but I still had similar symptoms around ovulation. 9/10DPO I had light pink spotting, next day I had some brown spotting, and now today it’s been close to normal (just a slightly darker than any other time in my cycle, as if I’m dehydrated) when I wipe after having a wee. I feel so bloody tired lol but my sides were hurting 9/10DPO and I feel a little nauseous today too. Am I making it up or should I be hopeful??? I don’t want to test yet but I also don’t want to say ‘oh it could be’ when it doesn’t sound like it 😂😂 sorry I don’t mean to bother anyone

I think clarity is missing from any of this TTC business because aside from the basics (which even then are disputed) everyone is different. Looking up symptoms doesn’t help much because they’re quite vague and a lot of symptoms can also be the same as if your period is coming on.

If all of these combined things are unusual for you I guess it could be a sign. But you may also be hyper alert for symptoms this month and recording every little thing whereas you haven’t other months. I’ve only felt ‘optimistic’ twice from symptoms and both times were BFNs. How many DPO are you now? Perhaps just test?

I would say this is unusual for me but sod’s law AF will drop on me and it’ll feel like I was just on hyper alert 🙃 I’m 12DPO now, AF is due on the weekend- I kinda want to test because at least then it’s not just me ‘feeling’ but not sure if it’s too early to get a clear indication if that makes sense?

Currently around 7/8 DPO and feel really crampy, I got a really intense cramp driving home and then almost as though my period had started (it hadn’t). Fingers crossed that this could be implantation 🤞🏻

Thanks, I rang my gp and they didn’t have any appointments so said to ring back next week!! My temp has gone up to 36.46 now I’m 5dpo. I use a OvuSense first so always record the data at 7am x

I was SO sure I was pregnant this month. We’d had lots of sex at the right times and I’d started feeling sick in the morning, tender boobs etc.

I’ve been really ill the last few days with what I thought was cystitis but is actually a kidney infection, and when he did the test he also said I wasn’t pregnant and prescribed antibiotics not to be used in pregnancy 😭

I’m only CD24 of what is normally a 29 day cycle, but now I just want my period to arrive if it’s not meant to be.

I don’t know about you but when it feels like a special or significant time to conceive or find out your pregnant, one for me was on my honeymoon or like just now getting a ‘Christmas wish’ it feels even more disappointing. I’m due on tomorrow but I already think I’m out, I don’t feel anything different just the usual AF symptoms.

I hope you feel better soon x

It really does! It's our wedding anniversary this week, same day AF is due, I just keep thinking how amazing would it be to get a positive this week

Thats a bit early for the doc to say you're definitely not pregnant though surely? I had cystitis when trying for my little boy and the doc gave me the antibiotics you can take in pregnancy...luckily as I was.

This month I couldn't face peeing on any sticks for OPKS. I then had a horrific reaction to the booster so doubt this month will be our month but will go again in the new year. Anyone else feeling a bit disheartened with it all this month? I think I'd overthought announcing to my family on Xmas day. Sending you all lots of love xx

So…I just found out my brother in law and his fiancée are expecting their first child. It was written in a Christmas card to me and my husband and I instantly broke down in tears when I read it (my B-I-L and his partner weren’t present, my husband brought the card home with him from visiting his brother), so it was just my husband present. My emotions were uncontrollable, I’ve never burst into tears so quickly.

I felt so guilty and selfish afterwards for my first emotions not being happiness and excitement for them but sadness for me because that’s what I want more than anything. They weren’t actively trying which knowing that made it harder for me. Of course I am so happy for them and it will be lovely to have a baby in the family but equally it’s a tough one to swallow. I know I’ll be fine and I’ll get over the initial shock. It was an unexpected surprise to the whole family so I can be forgiven for being shocked but I can’t/ don’t want be feeling upset or that constant feeling inside of “I wish it was me” when there’s talk of the pregnancy or the baby with the in-laws or feeling almost jealous of them being in the situation that I would love more than anything to be in. 😔

Please tell me I’m not the only one who has felt similar?

You won’t be the only one who has felt that way. Those feelings are all normal - you can be happy for them and sad for yourself. Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to feel sad about it. It’s hard to see people close to you going on the journey that you so desperately want to be on.

Sending you a big hug. I spent many a Christmas wanting nothing more than a baby. Hated hearing other people announce their good news even close friends and family. It’s so difficult when you’re both happy for them but it’s also reminded of your own situation.

I think it’s okay to feel both sad and happiness towards family. I hope that 2022 is your year 🥰 I’m proof that miracles do happen xxx

Don’t feel bad I’ve definitely felt that way before. Especially when it’s so close within the family like yourself but if they know what you and your husband are going through then hopefully they will be sensitive about your feelings when talking about the pregnancy around you x

After a family meal this weekend, all we’ve been asked about is if we’re having a baby, almost a year in now ttc and still not pregnant. I never thought I’d be one of those couples. 😢 so I say I don’t want children. I understand why they ask though as babies are so lovely.

Will go to the docs in the new year. I was on this thread a few months ago, but came off as so fed up. It feels pointless having to try for a whole year knowing all my gynae problems! Hubby is so broody 😞 not putting pressure on me at all, but says things like like “do you think we’ll ever have chance to do this with a child or that with a child”. I’ve stopped bbt and opks and just going with the flow. Feel much better for getting that out 😊

My brother video called me out of the blue last year to announce he and his wife were expecting. I plastered a grin on while tears welled in my eyes. I sobbed after the call. My mum is not sympathetic at all as she conceived 3 times easily. She tells me to relax. I literally don't ovulate and am beginning treatment when I'm well enough. I'm lucky my husband is a support.

I'm not jealous as such...I just want it for myself, not to take it from them. Anyway the baby is here now and an utter joy.

Sending love ❤

Hi ladies, had an absolute whirlwind of a week and my whole life has done a complete 360. My relationship with my fiancé ended last week after he told me that he had cheated. I’ve been absolutely distraught, mainly through losing him but as you’re all aware we were many months into our TTC journey together. I absolutely do not know where to go from here, just wanted to say that I wish you all the best luck with your TTC journey - hopefully I’ll be back here some day. ❤

I’m so sorry to hear this, sending you lots of love 🧡

I know it won’t feel like it now, but one day you’ll be spending Christmas with your perfect partner and surrounded by your children and you’ll feel thankful that this has happened.
