I only used it for the first time last week so still have to figure it all out, but according to CB i peaked and premom predicted id peak 3 days afterwards, i ignored that and went by the CB to dtd.

Anyone know anything about bbt? I haven’t done it before so bought a OvuSense for this month which I’m still waiting to arrive. To confirm ovulation is it a dip and then 3 consecutive higher temps after?

I temped for 3 months, that’s pretty much all there is to it but there’s not always a dip before, the rise is more important as it indicates your progesterone has risen which elevated you BBT and means ovulation has occurred.

I would recommend using fertility friend, but the ovusense app might be just as good (I never used ovusense just a regular BBT).

I will say if you establish you have regular ovulation and it’s consistently on the same day (and you don’t conceive quickly) then give up BBT if you can. It’s easy to become obsessed with. Good luck!

i really liked using OvuSense, out of the 12 months that I used it, it confirmed ovulation 11 times, and it was really clear to see on the graph, so it takes out the guesswork. It also works well if you either wakeup at different times each day, or if you wake up during the night for a wee, because that can really skew results if you just use a regular thermometer.

I’ve been using OvuSense for 2 cycles so far and it’s been helpful for me as it turns out I actually ovulate 2/3 days after a positive clearblue digital OPK so I hadn’t been timing things great before. Ovusense takes out all the guesswork for you by confirming ovulation as I still find BBT a bit confusing. I do like knowing when I’ve definitely ovulated as you know exactly how many dpo you are and when to start testing if you like testing early like me 😅

Congratulations! ❤ Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

Well I didn't last until Friday before testing again. I tested with a FRER this morning and there was a really faint line but I wasn't even sure that it looked pink so couldn't be sure what the result was. I used another early digital and it said pregnant.

I'm only 11DPO, AF not due for another couple of days and I've had no symptoms at all, so trying not to get too excited yet! 🤞🏻
Have you tested again yet??!! ❤❤

I’m 9dpo on cycle 3 and I think I have a faint positive 😬 I think December is going to be a lucky month.

How does ovusense work? What is it?

It’s a temperature sensor that you wear overnight. You can get one that you insert vaginally or one that you can wear on your wrist/in your bra which is the one I use. Then you link it to their app which you have to pay for on a subscription basis and it does your chart for you and confirms your ovulation. I use it because my son still wakes in the night so it would be hard to track my BBT manually, OvuSense just need 6 hours total sleep recorded so is better suited if you have broken sleep. I also chose OvuSense over the Ava bracelet as OvuSense actually confirms the day you ovulate and their support is good - both are pricey though.

It was helpful for me because I found out I ovulated 2/3 days after positive OPK so I’ve been able to time things better.

I tested again this morning with another FRER and it's positive 🥰 Clearer, darker line. Used one of the ClearBlue digital date ones and it said Pregnant 1-2.

I wasn't really expecting to see that as I've had no symptoms at all yet and by this point with my last pregnancy I had sore breasts and fatigue.

I’ve had very sore boobs since Friday as mentioned in this thread but all negative tests Friday/Sat/Sun.. I am 1 day late and this is pretty clear to me 🥰😭 trying not to get too excited as this a miscarried a few weeks ago so know how quick these things can be taken away from you but I can’t believe it 😭
Congratulations, lovely!! Don't worry if you don't have many symptoms. I only had sore boobs and fatigue and that's still all I have!

Hey lovelies. Hope you’re all okay! Haven’t been too active in a while.

I’m feeling a bit sad lately with Christmas coming up. Last year, I was convinced I’d be revealing my pregnancy to my loved ones. I had it all planned out. It’s difficult being in the same position, but with a lot less hope.
Does anyone have any tips to deal with Christmas?

My plan is to drink lots of fizz...thats about all I've got 😂 also spending time with my family and keeping busy and looking forward to the next cycle seeing it as another opportunity 😘

I decided to properly start TTC again next year but out of curiosity I got the cheapy sainsburys ovulation strips just to get used to tracking. My period app predicted ovulation yesterday, I did a test on Saturday and it was 2 dark pink lines straight away. Done one this morning and I’ve got one dark pink and one very faint so I assume that’s negative and my app was right I ovulated probably Saturday or Sunday?

I was due my period last Saturday. Had nothing all week except a few cramps.. started to get tentatively hopeful. Tentatively because I had a mc earlier this year. And what happens this morning? AF decides to show up with a vengeance a week late 😏

This whole journey can be such a mind duck, can't it

I had that a few times in the past x
It isn’t easy, you don’t really understand how hard it is till you’re trying and it’s just not happening 😞
