I’m having a mind fart and need to ask a stupid question 😂
Is the 7th day classed as a new week in pregnancy? Like would you be 23+7 or would it be 24? Please don’t judge my maths and wonder if I have the skills to be a parent 😂😂😂

Hi guys, I've been trying to 6 cycles now. I take my hat off to you girls who have been trying for a lot longer, you are all superwomen!

12dpo and BFN.

Think I'll stop tracking for December as birthday's and Christmas are a good distraction! Hopefully that way "it'll happen because I'm relaxed"

You go up to +6 then start a new week on the same day each week. 😊 So 24 rather than 23+7.

I’m not sure how many days DPO I am because I had a mc on 2/11. Since yesterday, I have had the craziest sorest breasts which I don’t normally get before a period and was also the main symptom when I had a BFP last time. The clear blue says not pregnant but I can see a hint of a line in the FRER. Should I take the clear blue as gospel or do you think I’m still in with a chance of being pregnant?

I can see a hint of a line on the FRER too. The digital tests are known for needing more HCG to pick up a result so I’d maybe retest in a couple of days with another FRER and if that has a stronger line (🤞🏼) do another digital x

I just pulled apart my clear blue 😂😂 as I’ve heard you can still be positive on the test strips but not on the digital screen and it looks like this. Trying not to get too excited and will wait a few more days…😬

I’ve just done a test, I’m 11DPO (technically it wasn’t my first wee of the day as the wind keeping me awake all night meant I went at 5am 🤣)
I did a first response. It looks negative. However I’ve over analysed it (like we all do) and I’ve now convinced myself there’s a very very very faint line. And it’s consumed my brain and I’m getting upset.
I think I’m seeing things it’s because I desperately want to see that line again, my OH has looked and he can’t say he sees anything.

I just needed to get this out of my brain, sorry x

Could I ask for some advice/information please?

I've been using the Clear Blue OPKs that predict your 4 most fertile days. Yesterday was the first time I've ever had the flashing smiley, I normally only ever had the empty circle. In fairness I wasn't testing consistently and going by the dates I've been testing way too early, getting disheartened/worried there was something wrong with me then playing the waiting game until my period came.

My cycle is generally 28 days. I recognised the change in my CM yesterday and took the ovulation test and it showed me the flashing smiley face. I just tested again and it's still the flashing smiley. My understanding is a static smiley is my peak fertility?

So. I guess my question is: if I don't see the static smiley does this mean I haven't ovulated yet? Or does it mean I have ovulated but my most fertile day is to come?

Also, if my cycle is 28 days and I got the flashing smiley on day 17, is this "normal"? Or is that quite late?

Sorry, I'm embarrassingly uneducated and I tried looking online and felt so overwhelmed.

Static smiley is your peak so is a rough estimate that you may ovulate in the next 12-36 hours. I use Clearblue OPKs and track my temp with an app that confirms ovulation. My app confirmed that I ovulated 2 days after my static smiley last cycle so I think it’s always worth considering the day you get peak and the next two days as most fertile. Flashing smiley means you’re building up to ovulation so still potentially fertile.

(TW: loss.)

Evening all.

It looks like I'll be rejoining you all soon. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be, and it was confirmed yesterday that I've miscarried.

Obviously I'm gutted, but all the signs are showing that it isn't another molar, so at the moment the relief is overtaking all the other emotions. The receptionist at the EPAU seemed very confused yesterday when I told her I was glad that my hCG level had dropped, because in my case a rise would have been a bad sign. I think she thought I'd lost the plot 😂

Anyway, we'll be trying again after Christmas. Fingers crossed it happens quickly 🤞 and good luck to everyone still trying!

We hadn't told anyone so we've pretty much kept it that way. My husband told his boss as he had to leave a work event in London early. They were fabulous, bought him a new train ticket, got him to the station quickly etc. My Husband has been great, he's been exactly how I've needed him to be, obviously while hurting himself.

I told one of my managers so I could sneak out of work for my repeat bloods, and she has also been amazing. I told her she could tell any other managers if she thought it appropriate, but that I didn't want a fuss. I can tell a couple of them know, but they've not said anything directly and have made sure I've had plenty to keep me busy.

Other than that we've kept it to ourselves. For me that's genuinely the best way for me to handle it. I don't like to be mollycoddled, and sitting around feeling sorry for myself wouldn't have helped me. The normality and busy-ness at work has helped massively.

II'll be 9DPO tomorrow (based on ovulation the day after static smiley/peak). I'll be CD25 and AF is due on CD29. Would that realistically be too early to test?

I've got some ClearBlue Digital Ultra Early tests which say you can use them from 6 days before your missed period/5 days before expected period, but when I used the 'when can I test' calculator on the CB website and put in date of last AF, the fact that I usually have 29 day cycles and the date of my static smiley peak, for some reason it says that Wednesday (CD27) would be the earliest I could test.

I'm not sure how sensitive the CB digital ultra early are compared to FRER?

Trying to keep busy but this week seems to be going by so slowly!

The clear blue ultra early digital gave me false negatives so please be careful!! I also read reviews of this happening to others! Normal clear blue digital said pregnant, FRER positive and clear blue ultra early blue dye test positive too.

AF showed up last week. I guess the good from it, is that I won't have 2 kids with their Bdays withing DAYS of each other. I started my Letrozole and have 2 cycles after this. Wish me luck.❤

Thank you. I'll pick up some other tests tomorrow for double checking!
