Sorry I haven’t been posting much, it was becoming too consuming so I had to take a step back! Still not pregnant, currently in fertile week with ovulation predicted Friday 🤞🏻 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🍀🍀🍀🍀

I’ve had barely any EWCM this month, last month I had a noticeable amount.. would you think I ovulated last month and not this month? 🤔

Does anyone else find themselves wishing their life away when TTC?

This is the first month of trying after a missed miscarriage in August. I was wishing my period to hurry up and get over with, then wishing the days away to get a positive opk, now wishing the days of this tww away…🙈 I think I’m about 4 dpo but it feels more like 4 weeks!

Urgh I need to rant and I don’t have anywhere to do it sorry!
So I had an early mc at the beginning of the month and we had decided to keep on trying straight away as we really want to have a baby. I think all of this pressure has been a bit too much for us both… does anyone else’s husband feel pressured to perform especially around ovulation? 😔 I’ve also now think I’m coming down with a uti (sorry if TMI) and think I’m out this month. According to my app I ovulated Monday however I have seen a lot of people say they ovulated later after a miscarriage so if I still have this uti then it’s probably not going to happen this month.
also to make matters worse, I work in a gp practice and Was asked to support a patient who has had a miscarriage and is really struggling, luckily she cancelled in the end but I noticed I started to feel really panicky at the thought of talking to her when I had only had my mc less than 3 weeks ago. I guess it’s shown me that my mc has affected me more than I am letting on.
Sorry if this makes no sense, I just needed to get this out of my head!

So sorry to hear about your MC. it sounds like you didn’t take any time of work esp in such a challenging job. Is taking some time off an option to get your head together?

Also my husband struggles around ovulation time I try not to tell him but honestly I can’t face that much sex ever so he knows without me saying the word . He’s an incredibly stressful job also that works shifts so it can be a nightmare for us.

Inwas able to take some time off work luckily, I work for 3 different places and it’s just that the one I was at yesterday wasn’t aware of my mc, so I guess they wouldn’t know any different!
Same here in regards to sex, before ttc we really didn’t do it that often so same as you, he can tell when it’s ovulation without me having to say the words 😂 it just baffles me how we were all tricked into thinking how easy it is to get pregnant when we were younger but in reality it’s much different!

I feel you ladies above, we are similar. I don’t tell him really about ovulation but it’s clear! My partner works away a lot and it’s also difficult for us 😩

I do drink in tww… I think if I didn’t I’d go crazy! I don’t binge drink anyway. If I banned wine for myself it would be very depressing when I wasn’t even pregnant.

This is my reasoning for drinking too 🤣

Do people drink alcohol during their TWW?
yes I do. Not excessively but I’ve decided not to put things on hold & carry on as normal. I totally overdid the porn star martinis in the last TWW but wasn’t pregnant then so glad I did lol

I drink, but not in excess - so I wouldn’t go on a binge night out, but I did have a bottle of cider with our dinner last night.

currently on CD24, normally a 28 day cycle but last month was 26. No symptoms at all yet, other than lacking in patience 🤣
