Me @Motherofpugs! I didn't bother tracking ovulation this month but my period is due in a week! I don't know why but I feel so nervous this time! This is month 10.
You’re half way through the tww already then! I always get a bit nervous after the first week. Do you know when you might test? Keeping everything crossed for you that it’s your month this month.

My period is due around the 15th I think and I’ll probably start testing from 10dpo as I can’t help myself 😂

I'll probably test on Saturday morning, I can usually put the TWW to the back of my mind during the week when I'm busy but it'll be first thing on my mind come the weekend. Good luck 🤞

Hey everyone. Hope you’re all okay.

We are still feeling the bombshell of my OHs SA, waiting for an ultrasound appointment to rule out a varicocele. It’s been two weeks but feels like months 😔

I found out today that my best friend is pregnant after trying for one month - I'm 8 months in with not a single even late period let alone BFP and I literally feel heartbroken.

Good luck for your first month! I would just say try to relax, enjoy it and keep yourself as busy as possible for the two week wait.

Is anyone else in the TWW? I’m 4dpo and I forgot how much this drags.
Yup, 2DPO (had 5 minutes of cramps and change in CM). I've had two previous pregnancies - one a miscarriage and the other my daughter. Completely forgot (pushed to the back of my mind) how tough this TWW is. I'm going to do everything I can to only test once AF is a day or two late, simply because I don't have the funds for all the tests I'd love to pee on 🥴

Looking out for dry stinging eyes and mouth ulcers at around 8DPO as these are weird symptoms I've had with both pregnancies

Fingers crossed for you! It’s so funny how everyone is different with symptoms. With my son I had hiccups every single day of the pregnancy from 5 weeks but my symptoms didn’t really kick off until then. I do remember having some cramping around 8/9dpo last time though.

I'm so sorry. It does absolutely break your heart. My friend got pregnant accidentally (but happily) and I wanted to scream.

The symptoms can be bizarre can't they?! If I hadn't experienced it twice I'd say it was chance! I don't know anyone else who's had the same, but I'm reassured that you have an "odd" symptom too 🤪

I am feeling really torn today. I stopped tracking this month because my ovulation tests were just getting dark then light every couple of days with no actual ovulation and it’s exhausting. I’m guessing as it’s my first cycle after my loss that’s to be expected.

Now I just feel guilty for not trying this month, like well I clearly can’t want it that badly if I can’t be bothered to keep tracking. I’m CD 28 now and I don’t think I’ve ovulated yet but I really have no idea.

Did any of you stop tracking and then feel bad about it? It’s like I know I should just let myself relax but I feel so guilty for doing so.

Sorry for the ramble, just such an emotional rollercoaster.

Yes I have felt the exact same!
Last month I thought let’s just have a month ‘off’ well just not tracking my ovulation with tests. Thinking that it’d make us just relax, it didn’t, that’s the only thing I could keep thinking of. Then come the end of the month when AF, kicking myself because maybe if I was testing it could’ve been the month.
So I completely feel you lovely ❤ It really is an emotional rollercoaster. Xx

I know it’s so easy to say and I definitely don’t take my own advice enough to say this but try not to be so hard on yourself. You are more than just your TTC journey and it was absolutely the right thing to do if you thought it may reduce your stress for a month. There’s no right or wrong in any of this and it’s just trial and error to find out what makes you feel better. I tried a month not tracking and just felt so out of control that it made my stress worse so now I track every month but it’s certainly still stressful!

Try Be kind to yourself, you’ve been through a recent loss & it’s ok to not try this month if you need the break. We’ve took a break this month also but for factors out of my control & im glad of it. I did feel guilt for a few days but honestly I needed the rest.

I have also taken a more relaxed approach this month - and have definitely felt the guilt! But again I think it does your mental health good to take a break from it. Hopefully being more relaxed with it works in our favour 🙏 and if not, I will be back to obsessiveness next month 🤣🙈

Has anyone been invited to a baby shower while ttc? One of my friends has one in a couple of months time and I just can’t think of anything worse right now but I feel bad for bailing. She’s aware of my TTC struggles so I think she would understand but I just feel so bad! I missed her hen do a couple of weeks ago too but that was for other reasons (my MIL is very unwell). I just don’t know whether I need to suck it up and go or if I send her a message explaining how I feel. What would you guys do? Xx

I find it so frustrating when people who have never ttc add in their 2 pence. I saw a friend today who’s had 2 healthy pregnancies and has never even tried to get pregnant comment that people shouldn’t “ttc” and track as it causes the body stress and people should just enjoy it and let it happen. How can you really pass comment when you’ve never had to do it? It’s also stressful when you want to get pregnant and can’t, so it’s stressful either way!!

When is the baby shower and where are you likely to be in your cycle at the time? Sounds daft, but for me, while I’m on my period and already feeling fragile and hormonal, I couldn’t think of anything worse. But if I was around ovulation/TWW I wouldn’t be as bothered as I’d keep telling myself I *could* be pregnant and it might be mine we’re celebrating next. It sounds like your friend would be really understanding either way.

Hey everyone, hope you're all okay 💕 still no AF for me and another BFN this morning so having to presume that my covid jab has knocked me all out of sync or because I was particularly stressed last month that that has had a knock on effect 😔

I thought I would maybe start properly tracking my ovulation rather than through an app, does anyone have any recommendations for ovulation kits / straps?

yea that’s a good point actually. I’m the same, feel like a different person around my period compared to ovulation! My cycles are fairly irregular but it isn’t looking like I’ll be on my period. I might leave it for a bit to see how I feel before jumping to a decision now. Thanks for the reply 🤗💕
