I had acne really bad after coming off of the pill. It lasted about a year then it got better. My skin isn't what it was though. Were you on the pill at all? It is hard to get anything much from the doctor when ttc! It made me Miserable. Hope your okay x

I haven't been on here much lately. I'm in cycle 18 and feeling okay, kind of feel defeated by the whole thing. Husband fell asleep one of the important nights in the fertile window and usually id be fuming. I just didn't have it in me. We did it a few times, not as much as we should have. But then I told myself, people get pregnant by accident in one go, and I've done everything I should for the 17 months before this and it's still not happened, so I just didn't have it in me to stress or be into it as much this month. Maybe next month. Or maybe I need a break. Don't know if I could do that though!

Can I ask if anyone here over a year TTC has never had a hint of a positive? I haven't had anything and this worries me. I know of lots of women that have sadly had miscarriages which is terrible, but not of many that have literally had nothing? X
Literally nothing, been trying over 2 years now

Slightly off topic, but has anyone suffered with hormonal/cystic acne? My skin is perfect on my cheeks/nose/forehead but really breaks out around my chin and jaw.

If so, have you found any solutions? Either diet wise or products?

I’ve had a couple of products prescribed but I feel like the doctors aren’t taking me seriously. It’s so hard to find active products that actually work but are safe while TTC!
I had it really badly while on the pill. I bought a light therapy mask and it made so much difference!

CD 10 and I have a flashy face on my CB digital 🥳 it took until CD 19 last cycle so hoping this means things are regulating 😊 however I did get the flashy face for 13 days before peak last time so still could be a while yet 😬

It’s weird but cos last cycle felt so long, the idea that I might just ovulate in 3 days and then be in another 2WW seems so quick to me! I’m not ready for the anxiety of another 2WW 😂

I'm going to sound so naive saying this, but I've never taken a pregnancy test as I've never needed to! I've seen so many comments about not testing at xdpo, etc. due to false negatives/positives. I have no idea how many dpo I am as not tested, but AF is due 13th June. Is it best to stick to the general rule of not testing before your expected AF or is it okay to test before? So much conflicting information! thanks :)

I got a positive 4 days before my period was due / 12 days after ovulation (on first response test and then clear blue ones) but I know lots of people prefer to wait until their period is due/late.

i personally never tested until the day before my period or after. To me, I wouldn’t want to know any earlier incase it was a chemical pregnancy, but they say you could test 14days after ovulation as it technically can show up.
It’s definitely personal preference and depends if you would get obsessive over chasing lines and how you would feel if it was a chemical pregnancy (or a very early MC)

Hi! I’ve never had a positive or faint line. Never had a miscarriage. I don’t know anyone else like it either.

I haven’t been actively TTC for over a year, but I came off the pill 2017 and never a hint of a positive or any sign of a pregnancy x
I think this is what worries me. That there has been no hint at all that I can conceive. I wouldnt want any of you feeling like that but at the same time it's nice to know there's others that understand me.

A lot of women do test before, I myself find the negative harder to take, and as your still not out till AF comes, still have hope and then it's just worse as its prolongs it, prefer for AF to just arrive and test if it didn't. That's just me personally but I think a lot of women do like to test beforehand

I've just seen a lot of women on the same cycle as me getting positives at 8/9/10dpo and I'm here just heart broken :(
I'm on Cycle Day 24, usually of a 34/35 day cycle. I'm keeping everything crossed 🥲
It can be so hard to see. But sometimes implantation can take longer and there’s no way to find that out. Hang in there, you aren’t out until you get your period ❤

Thank you for your reassuring words. I really needed that as I have no one to talk to about this. My partner doesn't understand 😕. Thank you ❤

Yep, right here. Over two years TTC, not one positive at all.

Waiting for IVF to start in the next month or two - it’s weird that SO many people say “I got my positive one day before we started IVF” that I’ve semi convinced myself it’s going to happen naturally.

It’s the hoping that’s the hardest 😞

I do actually know someone who went for a scan to do with starting her IVF and on it they saw she was pregnant! Think she was nearing 3 years. Seemed like a miracle.
You never know ❤

CD20 over here... Last cycle was a complete washout and went on for 48(!) days so I'm really trying to be positive this time around. Had some strange pain today on the left of my lower abdomen, I'm trying not to read into it but it felt really weird. It's all such a minefield. 🙈

Hi guys.

My HSG confirmed my left tube is completely blocked. Assuming it’s from my surgery I had to remove a cyst last year. So I’m now starting Letrozole for 3 cycles, if no luck then on to ICSI or IVF. Burst into tears in the room, even though I expected this news it was still a shock to hear it. I feel like such a failure! Feel like I’m letting my husband down a lot.

hope everyone is ok x

oh bless you. I can’t imagine how you feel but most importantly, You aren’t letting anyone down!! The most important thing is that you have an answer, and a plan going forward. Sending you love and positive vibes! xx

You are not a failure and you are not letting anyone down! Please do not think like this about yourself.
This is not great news but the important part is that you now know and the appropriate measures are being taken. Sending you lots of baby dust ✨

You are absolutely not a failure or letting anyone down. You are so much more than just your ability to conceive with ease and having problems doing so doesn’t make you any less of a woman/wife/mother. Make sure you tell your husband how you are feeling. As others have said, the important thing is you have answers and a plan, I have my fingers crossed for you 💕
