Bloody hell, didn't realise he was married before. I truly believe Moses is just as abusive as Trisha if not more. Trisha (whether you like them or hate them) is extremely vulnerable due to their own problems, one being codependency. I think this because he down players their abuse and enables them and I also think Trisha is the ideal target because Trisha themselves is abusive so he can always play victim whether that's to people outside their relationship or within their relationship. And also I think that is why he is with her. Exposure, someone to control.
There is someone I know who was in an abusive relationship but it took them years to realise because it was making them a better person? So like they put them on an extremely strict diet to make them lose weight (which is what the person always wanted) however if they 'failed' either going off of meal plan or not losing enough that week they would be punished with either less food the next day/week, being stonewalled or just plain emotional abuse (you large witch, you just can't help yourself can you). And I really see Moses being like this towards Trisha.
