I think he's fallen into 2 traps

1 - he found a formula that works/worked and got an insane amount of views. So he has stuck with that , but now his videos have become formulaic and robotic because he is so stuck in that formula. It's got to a point now he could be anywhere on anything

2 - he thinks he is the star and why people are watching so he is adding all his cringe trek trendy bingo card stuff

Yet another luxury cruise, this time from the Canary Islands to Barcelona with Dad.

I have SponsorBlock so I don’t see the ads in full but have they always been so…surreal? Saw about 10 seconds with his Dad wearing a sailors hat and Will going “Captain, have you ever built a website before?” before it skipped. I know YouTubers have to get creative with ads to keep eyeballs on them but what was that?

Yeah his attempts at creative ads are...cringe to say the least. Definitely the limits of his creativity

Is he trying to be Walk with me Tim by going on the cheap tacky cruises?

This seems very off brand

'The lovely...' it's such a weird way of talking about loved ones.

Also he went all the way to hawaii for one night! He is his own boss, how could you not just spend some time there

So apparently he has a second channel, that he pretty much never mentions. What's the point? So many of these vloggers have second channels that have no point or ever used

Do you have the link? Can’t see it anywhere 🤔
Here, only 2 long form videos plus loads of shorts. Doesn't seem much different to his main one so it seems pointless

Doesn’t he make promo and marketing videos for brands also ? I’m sure I remember this from the early days x

How on earth does he afford this? Not like it’s a one-time thing either. It’ll be straight from one luxury trip into another. I just can’t believe the views for this video would earn over $38,000 or am I far too naive?!

A million views can earn circa £7000 based on many travel vloggers earnings reveals. Yeah I agree, this one seems like he will struggle to make money off of. Especially when you look at other videos of the same train.

I think he has earnt a lot in the past, so he may have the cash. But I do wonder if this is an ego lead choice.

The issue with this one too is people can't just go and book it. So even if you have the money to spend, you can't necessarily experience it.

So he got the most expensive suite for his parents and the cheapest room for himself. There’s also the budget 1 night 2 days option for only ¥650,000/person ($4613.36) for 2 people or ¥900,000 ($6387.74) for a solo traveler if anyone is interested lol. This train is on my bucket list. Funny how he said it was a 1% chance in winning but every travel YouTuber in Japan has already done this train.

He has tried before and lost out. But I do wonder if they invite the occasional youtuber and he just had to wait his turn

Nah, I wouldn’t say that. I believe it’s hard, I just think the chance is better than 1%.

Though I do find it interesting that the other people on this specific train seem to be all/mostly foreigners. Maybe it’s 1% if you’re international and they group them together like this one.

2 to 3 weeks?!! His videos are good, but not THAT good. No way can he be working full time on them over that time

Omg the 80 day video was surreal! Costing a small 130,000 and that’s only for the basics. How in the name of god does he do it and also why does he pretend to be surprised when his parents or Millie come along 😂😂😂😂
