ANOTHER Orient Express video?!

I continue to marvel at how baffling his presentation style is; I feel like I’m watching a show on luxury travel aimed at children which makes no sense IMO.
wish there was an eye roll reaction for this alone! 🙄

He's falling into the standard youtuber trap of making himself ( and his gf) the stars moving away from just showing the product.

He doesn't really show that much of the product these days anyway, especially on the cruises.

I admit, he does a lot of things right, and fair play. But he has a very set template for every video, and the problem is they all start to look and sound the same regardless of subject.

The way he refers to her as things like “the lovely Millie” is like she’s a hostess on a tv game show in the 80’s. Purely for decoration, no agency whatsoever. It may very well be that she’s not comfortable talking on the vlogs, in which case leave her out of it. Say she’s accompanying you but don’t feature her. But having her as a “decoration” swaying her ample bum down the train in a tight dress looks a tad exploitative. And given the number of mentions sh3 gets in the comments it’s working.
Also, him matching his tie and pocket square to her pink dress… naff.

He does the same with his parents. It's weird and cringe. It's like ' the lovely Debbie mcgee'.

Such an odd way to describe your loved ones

The relationship is very strange, he seems to present her as if she is a belonging! She never really speaks other than when he asks her a question. The usual question is " are you having a good time Millie"

The Orient Express is always something I've thought of that you would do in retirement if you could afford it. I love travel but it looks like He'll to me! The decor is like something out of pre war Britain, stuffed shirt staff all acting false AF. The carriage is rocking all over the place and your room is very small.
Old Trekky comes along and starts quaffing Champers 35 years before his time.

See I disagree on that tbh, if I could afford it I'd do it. I love that era and always wanted to try that style of rail travel.

That said, he doesn't make it look as opulent and specisl as I expected

And there’s the history involved too. To be on the actual carriage that inspired Christie to write Murder on the Orient Express is actually pretty cool.

Things have slowed down the last couple months.

Still views many would die for, but for Trek it's a good 50% or more pay cut in ad revenue

Also, give Millie an Oscar for at least trying to feign SOME amount of shock for being on another Orient Express adventure!
The way he speaks on this video really irritated me, I hate how he speaks and delivers sentences

Discovered a new aviation vlogger channel called Flight Formula. Young (twenties) Australian fellow. Normal, amusing, not totally up himself or acting the idiot for cameras. Focus is on the cabin, service and lounges.
