It’s a nightmare. It’s going to take 4 different trains to get to where I need to work, its an absolute fucking joke and I have zero fucks and sympathy left to give now.

You should be able to get a refund when strike action is called. All TOCs will switch day or refund, if you've used a third party like Trainline they make it more awkward but they shouldn't be charging a fee to alter or refund

Oooh, I hope there are strikes on 4 sept. I booked a super expensive ticket (£85) for something that's not happening anymore. I need a refund

Great so over half term again. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have already bought tickets. I thought finally things had been sorted and trains were OK to use and start planning ahead.

Nothing is sorted. Yet. The pay talks have a proposal Aslef happy with and will go out to drvs vote the the next few weeks.
Theyll be no national strikes whilst that is happening

The LNER ones are different and separate to the pay dispute so even if LNER agree the pay rise deal proposed there strikes could still go ahead

Personally I think something will be settled as no one especially Drivers want to strike for that long. Big loss of pay.
