They were/are very vocal about police brutality. J was very "duck the police" for most of the time. But I think Denny felt he could make a difference in the community. Another friend said J posted about Denny's time in the academy and what he went through, and she has a better understanding of what the police have to deal with (it might be on her personal page or baddie page. I don't follow either). But she's still not a fan lol. Denny doesn't say too much because he's now a member of the police family, and I can't say I blame him. There could be retaliation or other problems, and he has a wife and baby to think about.
