Anyone watched the Coachella one? Half of it was pure tedious filler. They've also put another one out, something about influencers.

I think America for Brit youtubers is so oversaturated generally, they're all over there all the time.

The influencer one is almost 2 hours long. I’m sorry but what have they not shown of coachella already? How is there another 2 hours of content?

Ive watched it, it is a bit different but not overly. It has nothing to do with influencers though, thats just the title.

Leaving Mary drunk on her own again, it's so scary. I know she's a grown adult but when she can't even string a sentence together, she's clearly very very drunk! So so irresponsible to show that on the channel too.

I think it is irresponsible too , some of their viewers will be very young people , I know in Leeds it is almost a right of passage for 16 year olds to go to Leeds fest after GCSE’s and maybe leaving school . For some of them its their first time away on their own and being around drink and drugs . All mine went but they had it pummelled in to them no matter what they did they stayed with their friends and they looked after them !!

They show Mary just wandering off on her own , completely smashed , that one time at a festival she was completely lost just wandering around .

I would hate to think of young people letting their friends do the same because Mary does and shes always been ok . Well Mary is over 30 street smart not a 16 year old that has just stopped having school dinners and assembly !!

Used to really enjoy watching these guys, as a seasoned gig goer myself, it was always interesting to see some of the festivals and far flung events I'd never been to. However, I've found them really cringy and hard to watch of late. I'm no prude, and can still have it with the best of them. Yet these guys are now in their 30's and still trying to binge drink and act like they're in their late teens/early twenties. Now I don't expect the pipe and slippers to come out, but you do learn to moderate yourself a bit a least. I think their content is suffering as a result too, its all become a bit repetitive.
Rock up at a festival/event, get smashed, eat kebabs/pizza, throw up, loose Mary, Choccy thinking he's American, it's all become a bit tedious now.
When you think there's people their age that now have families, hold down careers, and are still able to do what they do without looking like complete imbeciles. It just makes it all look even more tragic, they should go back to basics and focus on the gigs/events more. Instead of seeing how quick they can get mullered, left the binge drinking in my mid 20's.

I agree, us as viewers are now growing up too and it's starting to get a bit sad now.
i do wonder how this lifestyle is sustainable long term?

This seem to be showing on their views as well. They're slowly going on a downward trajectory. Like all youtubers though they blame the algorithm etc.

I think people are thinking ‘meh, seen it all before’. My son is slightly younger than them and used to be an avid viewer. He’s bored of the same old content now and never watches.
Let’s hope they haven’t given up their day jobs (like Rob has).

I still love watching their videos. I think they’re my current hyper fixation 😂 (I’m mid 30s), but we also used to go to 10+ festivals a year and now it’s only 2/3 because we’re getting older and knackered so god knows how long they can continue, unless they start splitting them up between them. I think they all still work apart from Rob, which is a good thing if it goes pear shaped.

I guess I'm not surprised but jeez what a lifestyle. Drunk on YouTube and selling nudes.

Something I found quite sad about Mary was she explained on a podcast that she uses ALL her annual leave on TPD events, so she doesn't get to go anywhere with her mates (unless they also go to the festivals, which let's face it more like 2-3 not 20).
She said that's her choice and she's happy with it but girl you don't get these years back, and if you then retire from the non stop festival content life and you turn round and all your girls are at a stage of life where they have families / high flying careers and significantly less time for you... Like, ouch!

Rob is a bit up himself now and acts like the festivals have to thank them for being there, like new bands need his seal of approval. Then in the next breath says season pros like Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight and Richard Ashcroft are just middle of the road. Pretty sure they don’t care what TPD think!!

I wasn’t aware Mary had a ‘typical’ job, does she not just do OF? or did she say on the podcast she had a job? Also, not everyone wants a family/kids and she’s travelling the world with TPD, so I don’t think it’s that sad of a thing 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’d happily sacrifice my annual leave to fly all over the world, like you said, she’s only young once and I’m sure they’ll be amazing memories to look back on if she decides to settle and have a family. She can also not go, plenty of TPD members only appear in certain videos so she’s at liberty to decline to go places to see her friends instead etc

Yeah she does have a normal job. I’m not sure what it is though, maybe retail? Exactly that, if TPD were my friends I’d gladly use my leave to travel the world with my best mates going to festivals. As you say, she doesn’t have to if she doesn’t want to.

Not sure why they are trying to get that Jack in the 'gang'. He just doesn't seem to gel at all.
