Does anyone else find it bizarre that her Dad never comes to any of these Chinese traditions? He's obviously not the best, most present Father in the world but he's literally the one who made her half Chinese. Her Mum seems to be the one most into it!

Honestly can't believe how much he is moaning about the houses being built, the UK is in a housing crisis with a lack of them to go around they are popping up everywhere because the demand is so high. I live close to Gee Cross and can say the roads aren't bad for traffic and it's quite a good location for commuting with a lot of grassland of course it's going to get built on and the houses will probably cost quite a lot as well.

I genuinely think he doesn't think. Like, at all. He only cares because this impacts his 'view' negatively (its not a particularly remarkable view Tom, its the sky. It might surprise you to know that other people have actually seen that, and seen better views! Who knew?) and he would pretend to think it was a good thing if one of his friends was moving there. That's it.
He does not care about much.

His priorities are all wrong. We all know he won't spend the money changing the driveway. He will say the materials are too expensive as "he knows the cost of materials" even though he couldn't hang a picture frame without calling dodgy builder Ken.
I've been thinking this for a while the view really isn't that great it's just that he is high up with a clear view but it's a view of some grass and the sky not exactly the most picturesque is it?
When the houses are built the new neighbours are gonna love him running about with that torch shiny at their houses
