Has anyone used a stroller from birth instead of a bassinet? Second guessing whether to get a double pram for baby and toddler like a bugaboo donkey or just a double stroller. My toddler currently hates the pram so no idea if it’s even worth getting anything but we live off a fairly busy road to cross to get into town so ideally I’d like her secure in something for the walk into town! Not sure if a stroller would. Work for a baby though!

As long as they lay flat and say from birth, it wouldn't be a problem 🙂

The Joie Aire is suitable from birth

That’s the one I’m thinking of! The benefit of the bugaboo is if she still doesn’t play ball at least it can be a single pram, the benefit of the Joie sure is the price haha, and at least there’s always an option!

We used a double stroller because my 2yr 4mth old was not as interested in walking as I thought they may have been, so I got a redkite One. We didn’t used it much, but it’s lovely and they lay back flat. I did miss that I couldn’t see the baby and have him facing me though

Yeah I do think to be fair I’ll use a sling a lot as well, and I just don’t know how keen she’ll be so reluctant to spend too much! Basically I think if I have a sling as well, then this way I have plenty of options without spending a fortune. But I did love being about to see her when she was a newborn all snug in her bassinet and I worry it won’t be as comfy!

Anyone else just exhausted by every outing ending in tears?! Going to the park or to activities… they never want to leave! Am starting to try get them gradually used to it by saying ‘we’re leaving in 5 mins / last go on the slide’ but obvs times pretty meaningless to a toddler so am unsure how helpful that is. Any tips or just a phase I need to ride out?!! 2yrs6 months old. Feeling like this 🤯🤯🤯🤯

I never really got on with a sling/baby carrier. I wish I could. I love having them cuddled up to me as much as possible as newborns 😭

Not really leaving parks etc, but for my 3yo, I set a timer on Alexa for bed time or dinner time for 10 minutes and he is pretty good at stopping what he’s doing for when she starts

“Mummy mummy I want a banana!”
“Ok darling go get one”
“Mummy mummy you need to peel it!”
*Mummy starts to peel*
*Toddler sinks to the ground with a blood curdling scream as they watch their best friend be skinned alive*

Why are they like this 🤦🏻‍♀️

The other day my three year old cried cause his cookie was in his tummy. Like throwing body on floor the world is ending crying. Why, just why 😂

I've had pretty much this exactll situation 😂
Cried because the banana wasn't peeled and she couldn't peel it.
Asks for it to be peeled... then cried because it's peeled 🤣

I’ve always done sling with newborn and toddler is free roaming. It means you are hands free to deal with a wandering toddler, help them with scooters etc

Mine had a tantrum because she wanted water in the yellow cup, so I got her water in the yellow cup and she lay on the floor and cried. Turns out she wanted the blue cup but said yellow 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hey, posting for advice please. I think I posted a few weeks ago too and nothing has changed. My two year old daughter is hysterically crying at nursery drop off. No signs of anything improving no matter what we do, and believe me we have probably tried everything. She's been going to this nursery since she was 10 months old and until maybe about 2.5- 3 months ago she'd never cry going in, she'd be maybe a bit subdued but otherwise totally fine. Now it's heartbreaking tears. They say she's fine after about 10 mins but is definitely more emotional generally than she used to be. Still seems happy at pick up the way she's always been. I know separation anxiety is very common but this has been happening for so long now that I'm scared this is just how she'll be with everything from nursery to school. Really not sure what else to try. She really does try to hold it in and is usually fine on the drive to nursery and even on the walk to the door. Then as soon as the staff member comes out to take her in that's when she literally breaks down into tears. It's so so hard. Has anyone been through this for a long period of time and how did you eventually overcome it?
Is she the same if your partner does drop off? Ours is much happier when it’s dad doing drop off- she screams if it’s me.

Hi ladies, do any of you have any tricks to get orange stains out of clothing please? Every time the toddler comes back from spending the day with his Nannie hes in stained clothing, and it's another ruined outfit. I'm sick of it. I've mentioned it so many times, but she never listens. All I ask is she puts a bib on him or takes his clothes off because he can be such a messy eater! Aahhhhh 🍊🍊🍊🍊

I must say, 10 years of parenting and I find orange to be the absolute worst. Nothing I have ever tried - including the sun which works on everything - gets it out. My 10yo dropped some on her white school shirt today and I was like a woman possessed yelling at her to get it off asap 🤣
This is genuine, but all I can think in this instance is send him in orange t shirts. Or at least older clothes you aren’t bothered much about. My parents kindly have looked after my kids when I work. When they are little I always send them in clothes I’m not bothered about as they come back filthy. I learnt that the hard way though.

I always take the clothes off when it’s food that may stain and Mr B leaves them on and it’s so frustrating especially when it’s new clothes. My mum has the baby once a week and she’s the same. She will put the clothes in the bag and I’ll forget about them and will find them a week later 😭

Anyone else going through 2 year sleep regression
Our son despite being exhausted won't sleep at all until like midnight he'll get into bed close his eyes and get comfy and then just decide he's not sleeping
