People also just make it up. My 4yo is quite petite, she always has been just a dinky thing. Someone once said “oh she’s very big for her age isn’t she?” So they just say random stuff for the sake of it sometimes, I’m convinced of it

Adults come in different shapes and sizes so why is it a shock when kids do too
Standards for everything seem to be higher for babies and children than adult - sleeping, eating, behaviour, weight - there are people who genuinely seem to expect them to be tiny robots that eat/sleep/behave better than adults. They’re kids ffs have a day off

Couldn’t agree more with this!!! We aren’t robots and neither are they!!

Does anyone have any tips for tackling cradle cap in an (almost) 2 year old? She’s got a fair amount of hair, although not loads, so I’m not sure the best way to deal with it. I used the Frieda cradle cap kit when she was a bald baby but not sure if it’ll work as well with hair?

Tangle teaser do a scalp massage/exfoliating brush. Maybe try that with some oil before washing. If she’s anything like my then two year old she’ll hate having her hair washed so could try before getting her in.

Honestly, even my 7yo(boy) still has cradle cap. I find with girls one you are brushing their hair more often/thoroughly that it goes pretty quickly. My 4yos is almost gone now that she’s been having pony/pigtails every day for school this year.

I was going to say mine had it for ages he’s four now. Doesn’t seem to as much now but I try and scrub his scalp when I wash his hair ( in a nice way ) I think it just goes away on it’s own pretty much as they grow?

I used the Dentinox cradle cap shampoo and it cleared up in no time!

Been to my mums this afternoon and i over heard her telling my fella to get the nappies off my son. This is like millionth time she’s mentioned it this year. If I hear her one more time I’m gonna her in the mouth 😂😂😂. Im not a violent person but she is making me very wound up
If only it was so simple to potty train!!! I have an agreement with nursery it is pointless yet because they think he won’t tell them he needs a wee. He is getting better with communication with adults but it’s still a bit off.
does she think I am putting it off for the fun of it!? It really angers me when she mentions it. She mentioned it at Easter and I snapped at her saying I don’t want to hear it and now she’s doing it behind my back when she thought I’d left the room!!!!🤔🤔🤔

My Mum keeps mentioning it to me. And indirectly to my 2 year old 🙃
She said the other day when I was changing her "Ahh you don't need these anymore, do you?"
Keeps asking me when I plan to potty train her. Infact the first time wasn't a question it was "I presume you'll be potty in the summer" 🙄

How annoying is it!!!! I said to her if I wanted her opinion I would ask for it
I am upset she chose to do it behind my back. What does it matter to her if he is in them or not. She isn’t the one buying them or changing him!! She winds me up 🤣. Every half term she mentions it and any other opportunity she gets as well

I got some skinny joggers from next instead of the usual ones and she said oh they’d be bigger on him if he didn’t have nappies on when I mentioned they are tighter. No they are tight cos they’re slim fit. Jesusssss

My dad would moan about mini A in nappies then slightly moaned when she had accidents! .. she’s dry daily now but it took a few months for it. Just ignore them @strawberrysunshine_x xx

‘Maybe we don’t sniff other people’s privates’ - a sentence I never thought I’d have to say 😂
I took my daughter to the toilet before her ballet class today as she said she needed to go. Apparently it was “just a few farts as I dont want to hurt anyone’s nose”. I mean don’t mind me squatting here holding you on 🤣

Does anyone have any nice half term plans

we went to a birthday party yesterday and might be going to a play group this morning. It starts at 930 and we are still in our pjs 😂

I was trying not to spend any money this week and just enjoy the outdoors

nope! I’m off Wednesday and Thursdays anyway but Wednesday just go outside in the garden and then afternoon she’s got her horse riding lesson, Thursday pre school jabs first thing so will play it by ear. If she feels ok will get to a park!

I’m like you - I don’t wanna spend money on stuff when it’s nice outside. I have booked Gullivers world for next week, (£9.50 for me with my NHS discount and she’s free under 90cm…. My friend went and they don’t measure so a cheap day out lol)

Horse riding is too cute.
it winds me up that play centres put their prices up in school holidays. The one we’re gonna go to is a fiver for 1.5 hours. Usually we go everywhere but I’m not bothering this time he’s got plenty of toys in the garden and fresh sand in his sandpit 😂

I took lots of toys outside now that she’s not played with for a while. I was debating getting a water table but I just think what’s the point in spending £40 for abit of plastic. She’s got a large shell water thing I could easily fill with water for her to splash around .. she’s more interested in going to parks which I don’t mind.

She’s been doing horse riding since she was 2 -she’s more into it now and my dad bought a pony for her (spoilt)! A family member has a riding school so I get free lessons and stuff so it’s really handy. It wouldn’t be my choice of hobby for her if I had to pay though!

I did horse riding when I was younger and I bought my own at 21 my mum and dad would never buy me one. Yours is very lucky

mine has a water tray I got it off Facebook market place for free 🤣. He doesn’t really use it that much. He did when we first got it now he’s not interested much
