My daughter keeps randomly pulling her leggings down and going for a wee wherever she is rather than telling me she needs a wee… she seems to think she can go anywhere 😂 she did it at the dolphin show on holiday and I only realised after I got to her and she’d ran off.. then today at the park she was doing it in the sand pit in plain site, I was putting something in the bin and turned round and she was shorts to her ankles squatting down in the sand pit 🫠 is this normal?! She knows to tell me if she needs a wee but she seems to think she can go anywhere 😂

Tried packing a lunch for mini me today, still burst in to tears at lunch. She was so excited to show everyone her lunch box and stuff as well. I just don't know what's going on

Switching nurseries for my little one from September to be closer to home and get into our local primary. Why do I feel so scared to tell his current nursery?! I daren’t tell them 😂

Also - we are due baby number 2 very soon. How did people introduce their eldests to the babies? Did they visit in hospital or when you got home?

With no2 and no3 they visited in hospital the day after the birth. No4 was Covid times so just at home. It didn’t make much difference either way, but I was keen they got to meet asap.

Hats off to those who aren’t “one and done” 😂 going through pregnancy and labour once is enough for me! Let alone the sleepless nights. I remember feeling like a zombie for a good year 😂

We didn't bring my son into hospital to meet his baby brother because siblings were only allowed to visit for 1 hour in our hospital and we thought he was too young to understand why he could see us then have the leave and it would upset him. If he was older and could understand I would have had him visit x

No. 2 was also during Covid times so No.1 met him at home. My mum was there to look after him and it was quite calm and nice. He was 3 and we let him gently stroke his brother's head, before giving him a cuddle.

Ideally we would have had him visit in hospital but obviously wasn't an option. OH was only allowed in for an hour (!) and it had to be pre-booked. There was a super snooty cow opposite me who insisted she got the first slot. Apparently she was going to be discharged after lunch and her husband simply couldn't wait around. I did cackle when I was discharged before her.

I was also scared to tell my sons preschool, because he loves it and they love him 😭💔

Baby 2 - my eldest was at her dads so met at home when she came home later that day
Baby 3 - 1&2 came to the hospital to meet baby
Baby 4 - I was in hospital for 24 hrs after having him, and it was Christmas Eve, so they met him Christmas morning, just before we went to own presents 🎁

Pre school vaccinations booked for next Thursday. Thankfully it’s half term so no toddler group on that we usually go too! Shall I give calpol before hand if I can? Did anyone else’s children just get a temp? Hopefully she’s fine off them as I’ve got work on the Friday but they’re at 9am on Thursday so hopefully she can ride any side effects out!

Mine was absolutely fine once we were out and he had a Milky Way to cheer himself up after shouting at the nurse for hurting him 😂 I gave calpol straight after too.

We had to pick Mine up from nursery the next day it really took it out of him. But I haven’t heard anyone else say this happened 🤣 my friend had theirs done the same week and her daughter was fine!!
fingers crossed for you.

My partner has just told me that one of the mums at nursery said to him that our boy is chunky!!! And that hers was like that last year but he’s lost weight now
Excuse me!??? This has really annoyed me 1 why is she looking at my child thinking he’s big
2 maybe keep your opinions to yourself about a child!!!!

He is tall for his age ( when we were in hospital for his arm they told us he’s the weight of a 7 year old 🥴 but not overweight !?🤣) he has long legs. Ok he has bit a put of weight on but he was really slim.
my poor boy being judged at 4yrs old 😩

oh my word!!! I remember going through a phase with my child and her refusal to get strapped in, I remember her screaming blue murder for soooooo long. It was awful!
Mine likes to lean out of his seat sometimes when I’m trying to fasten him in. Love it

I haven’t ever given calpol for preschool injunctions. Never had any side effects either. It’s the most straight forward for us, the kids don’t care about it and it’s an easy enough one

Yeah, my husband and I both have to wrestle my toddler into the car at 7am to go to nursery. We could leave an hour later but I’m too scared that on my own we’d never get anywhere 😭

This is such an accurate description of motherhood though, isn’t it?
Hahah it sure is, I found it quite funny until I got a little notification that said “way to go, you’re ahead of your goals for this time of the day” absolutely get to duck you patronising little piece of tech 🤣🤣🤣

It’s ridiculous. Some people are so hung up on the size of babies and kids. I have kids on the smaller side and people always comment. Like, thanks Jan, I’ll just inject them with growth hormones!
