I wish I could do a voice note 😂

It was worth the £48 I spent, it’s just me and A though.

They do a 1 adult and 1 toddler none school hols for £25. You could just go on a day trip you & 2 year old on a weekday. It’s 2 hours from us too. Honestly A is OBSESSED, she keeps wanting to watch the walk through on YouTube. Highly recommend it xx
fab thank you! If it’s worth it then we’ll pay the £42 per ticket for a family day out, I did see the toddler deal but would like my husband to get to come with us as well but that could only be a weekend 😖 we just didn’t want to pay over £100 for one day out of it was gonna be a load of crap. I did look at staying in the hotel but woooow they charge some premium for that don’t they 🙃! X

My son was up until 9:30pm last night!
This evening he was asleep by 6:30pm - but he didn’t have a nap. I’ve found the only thing that gets him off to sleep at a decent time is having no nap, which makes for a long old afternoon. 😅
Mine doesn’t have a nap hasn’t for ages , usually when at nursery he’s asleep for 630. But not cos it’s summer hols. We went to play area this afternoon and it has three sessions so I picked the last one 230-415 hoping he’d be tired but he was giddy all evening😂

It’s so hard to tire them out isn’t it? They seem to have limitless energy, wish I could borrow some! 😆

My daughter is 3 next month and when she is at nursery she still has a 30 min nap (tried to get them to cut it completely but they told me she’d be the only one in the toddler room who doesn’t nap….), on my days off aka the weekend I don’t let her nap and omg the bedtimes are pure bliss. We recently got rid of her beloved dummy and on the days she naps (even tho it’s just 30 mins) trying to get her to sleep has been a huge challenge, and god help me if she wakes in the night now! Since ditching her dummy 2 weeks ago she’s ended up in my bed nearly every other night as it’s the only way she’ll fall asleep. I don’t mind as it’s just the two of us but during this heatwave…. Lorddddd

I’m excited to go back - I’m taking her in September again on the £25 deal xx

Also!!!!! We went to the beach all day today and A didn’t nap, I didn’t even mention naptime. She was fine, didn’t fall asleep in the car on the way home and was flat out by 8pm again! Not one tantrum all day… she still loves a nap but at what point would you cut it out?

Sometimes she says no to a nap at home but it’s cos she wants to watch tv still etc but soon as her head hits the pillow she’s asleep😂 so I think she does need one still but life would be easier if she didn’t nap lol
All mine have napped daily until over 3. Then we would notice it is impacting bedtime (getting harder for them to fall asleep at normal bedtime) or they may not fall asleep at nap time. Then we go to naps every few days - as needed really. So they may do 3 days of no naps, then nap for two days in a row, then every other day, or just whatever is needed. We find that works better than just going straight to no nap at all.

OOOOH okay thank you! I think the days we have stuff on all day I’ll be more fluid about her not napping, tomorrow we are going to a farm as they’ve got a dinosaur thing on so I don’t think she will nap again. I don’t wanna rush it/don’t want her napping at 3pm so we shall see..! 🫠

can I ask how you found CBeebies world? Was it worth it? We’re a 2 hour drive away and really want to take my duggee obsessed boy within the next couple of weeks whilst the weather is still nice, but every time I’m reminded my husband and I have to buy a full £42 ticket each I’m filled with rage 😂 he’s only two so will be free thankfully but don’t want to do the drive and spend the money plus food etc for the day if it’s a load of rit!
I don't know if you've ever looked into a merlin pass?
We have them and it's so worth it.
They don't need one anyway under 3 years but even as adults, you pay £30 each to get the passes and then £9 each a month.
And then you get Alton Towers, chessington, all the sea life's, loads in London like the London Eye, madame tussards, shreks adventure, London dungeons. Anything that is Merlin owned basically.

It was the best thing we did, just being able to decide, ahh let's go here. And only have to worry about food and fuel.
Considering you pay £20pp for sea life ect ☺

Also to add on that lots of cereal boxes I've seen have the 2 for 1 on Alton Towers ect at the minute too ☺

Yes that’s kind of how we would work it- gives you scope for days and activities out of the house, then when you are home a nice quiet day with a nap to "catch up" on the sleep debt!

I’d love a merlin pass but we live 5 hours away from London and I don’t fancy London with a toddler (yet!!) annoying though as I was considering getting one too.

Is there anything else near you?
We've never been to London with it and we've had it for 4 years now 😂 (we're only an hours train ride from London. But as you say, London with a toddler, no thanks 😂)
We mainly use it for Sea Life. Used it for Lego Land a few times, Chessington.
I have noticed if you're up north though, there isn't much on it of use really.
Couple of things in Blackpool, York dungeons and sea life in Scarborough. Apart from that, everything is further down south!

Nope, nothing much that you’ve not said :( it’s a shame cos we love our days out and we would rinse a Merlin Pass 😂 just don’t fancy driving so far! Annoying though.

A didn’t even sleep in after a long day yesterday in the sun/beach and no nap. Woke up at 7 like usual! Hope she’s ok today as it’s unlikely she won’t nap again. (Who even am I 😂😂😂😂)

Theres a sea life at chesheroaks if that’s any good?

Anyone else’s toddler all hot and bothered 🥴🥴 bedtime was 8pm mini melon didn’t go to sleep til 9:45. Our back neighbours are complete arseholes and have parties whenever it’s hot but they smoke weed and start fires ?? But my sons bedroom is the back bedroom so he’s in my bed with me. I’ve evicted my fella to the sofa cos it’ll be too hot and sweaty the 3 of us. I’m prepared for a night of no sleep but I’m pregnant and need to sleep 😂😩

I had the night from hell!!! Mother in law took him to McDonald’s yesterday whar a shock !! Midnight comes and he starts throwing up chunks of fish fingers. I’d only been asleep a hour. I’ve had to Chuck one of the pillows out cos it’s that bad and I couldn’t bring myself to clean it without wrenching. Poor love was sick three times finally went to bed at 2am. Love picking chunks of fish out the carpet at middle of the night. Safe to say I’m pretty pissed off. Up for work at 6am in this b heat
