Yay I actually learnt something today and can make a valid contribution to the thread 🥳🎊 Graupel. The nice weatherman on Look East tells me it's some kind of snowflake encased in ice, so there you go.

Is that the “snow” that looks like little polystyrene balls? We had some yesterday.

Today I learned that I'm a ditzy cow who just realised that coriander and cilantro are the same plant! 🥴

Love it and no you are not ditzy, unless you go on UK/US sites you will not know. - zucchini/courgette - egg plant/aubergine etc and it goes on.
Car boot/trunk.

I learned today that I should not give my husband my expensive Hotel Chocolate drink. He had one a couple of days ago and said it was good so made him one tonight, different flavour and he said it was lovely - when I took the glass away I said was that as good as the other day and he said no they are not as good as the Aldi or Asda low large choc drink you usually have. £1.10 for 1 drink against the same for about 20. I have them as a treat, he will never get another.

I learnt that the fluffy wristbands tennis players wear are not for looking cool and all tennisy, They’re for wiping the sweat off your forehead instead of using your naked forearm and getting sweaty hands.
Mind was blown.

I thought that was an obvious one as they're called sweatbands 😂

That's definitely nothing against you not knowing by the way 😂
The amount of simple things I've learned on these threads 😂

Omg back in 2004 me and my friends at school was obsessed with sweatbands! I remember wearing one on each arm to school and I even had one with a watch face on it from Claire’s 😂

Not to distract from the topic of the thread but I always use sweatbands when washing my face as i hate when the water drips down my arm.

Hyenas give birth through their clitoris. Marsupials have two uteruses and three vaginas. Just one of them is for childbirth!

I need to find other ways to cheer up my friend who is scared and about to give birth for the first time 🧐

Apparently hyena genitalia looks the same externally for both male and female too.

That Stonehenge is not on the border of England and Scotland. I must have always confused it with Hadrian’s Wall.

An actual thick as tit moment 🤣

That when you “click” your fingers…it’s not your fingers that make the noise it’s them slapping off your hand 🤣🤣
