i don’t mind them too much, good on them for building a successful business but spend some money making your life more manageable or take some more maternity leave! Glamourising the hustle
Yep, while a profitable business is successful I’ve always valued the ability to take time when needed. Being tied to a desk when you need a break is not success.
Pay for help! Gosh there is no shame in having a nanny.
So much drama over immunisations. No wonder her four year old was freaking out about them. Maybe instead of all the gadgets, she could just talk with him and explain what’s happening.
And yes I have young children and have managed to get all their immunisations on time with minimal freak outs (even with a five year old who gets a bit anxious about the doctor). Children feed off your energy.

Fortunately for our kids we didn’t have a product to shill so we had to just get it done
My stepson had the buzzy bee…for twice daily clexane shots (a blood thinner with a big thick needle) over 8 months.
I will not raise my kids to be absolute sooks and require this buzzy bee for their one off vaccine needles (which you realise are the tiniest thinnest needle after you’ve seen a clexane needle).
Clexane is the devil. Worst time of my life giving my daughter these shots twice daily

Yikes I had Clexane for IVF and it is by far the worst needle. Your stepson is a trooper!
Came here to say this… ironic that she loves sharing fear mongering government update of meningococcal outbreaks and cases of measles etc but CHOOSES to delay her baby’s first vaccinations… we had to delay on our baby’s 6 week vaxxes because of illness and I was terrified to take them out..she’s just been exposing that child to the kid’s school and kinder germs, taking it to shopping centres and restaurants as well as into the office… interesting she doesn’t practice what she’s preaches..and is dumb enough to share it
Uncommon to not have heard of them… seriously?? I’d never heard of them except through here. Nobody I know with kids has either. We get free first aid classes through the council and our MCHN would never in a million years recommend what is basically an Instagram business as a source of information. It is all info from the RCH. We were also explicitly warned to use the official sites for info multiple times by many different nurses and doctors, I assume a warning against this type of business and others. Do they know of this push back I wonder?
But we live in a world where people get offended if I say I don’t take health or parenting advice from social media content so I guess people just like getting ripped off.
I’m a paed healthcare worker and I couldn’t agree more. Use the wonderful free resources and save your coin.
