Super weird take to think only newborns can have a dummy! If anything it's considered not great to give really young babies a dummy due to potential for nipple confusion, so it's strange that you think it's acceptable but only up to 4 months. And Red Nose Australia recommends them to reduce SIDS risk. 'Absolutely unnecessary lazy parenting' code for = I don't have kids.

Must be exhausting to hardcore judge most parents!

I'll stick to mainly judging the idiot behind Tiny Hearts, not the majority of parents who allow their bub to have a dummy.

I understand the awareness on the issue she is trying to share, but to post that reel of a baby choking on a dummy, just as thousands of her followers have put their babies to bed with a dummy is sick. That is purely done for shock factor and engagement on her page. Doesn’t matter what time of day a post is made, if the content is good it will reach the right people. Doing it at 8pm isn’t right.

Completely agree. This is also my pet hate. Love the awareness it raises, but I’m a health professional and she scares people with her posts and it’s not always accurate information.

If you search her name she comes up as resident expert, health professional/ commentator on why kids shouldn’t have cucumbers, sleep upside down, breathe sideways etc etc (I’m being facetious, but she’s demonising a million things to prey on people’s anxiety). It’s ridiculous. There are also a lot where she’s warning people about fairly common sense things, or most of the time the maternal child health nurse has free info about it available.
I also have a massive problem with her using a title which she no longer is. She (was) a paramedic. Paramedics are emergency health professionals. She’s not a children’s health expert, paediatrician , dietitian or lactation expert. She’s an ex paramedic to boot (I believe she quit in 2016 and worked for 8 years), so I wonder how up to date her clinical knowledge is. An ex paramedic who hasn’t been required to be up to date and has been out of their field for 8 years isn’t someone I’d rush to take advice from.

I can’t with her talking about being away from her 8 week old much wanted final baby. Of course not knowing the circumstances but surely she doesn’t need to be back at work so soon.

If I were her I’d buy less Christian Dior hand bags and pay someone else to help manage the business so I could have some longer maternity leave ..sometimes I wonder if the flaunting of $$ is all a farce. It doesn’t add up to me.

lol Tiny hearts chick has literally never spent time with her other kids and now can’t cope having to actually be home and parent… can’t chuck them into their expensive private school ELC in the school holidays!
I don’t understand how anyone takes her seriously. She can never seem to get her older 2 to sleep or behave themselves…
I guess that’s what happens when you spend more time in a Gucci store than with your children

Seriously, her reel about a poor little boy being strangled by his mum’s hair. Way to make people anxious clearly it’s awful, but clearly also just sheer bad luck and not something parents need to stress when their kids are sleeping with them in bed. Just a reminder about hair tourniquets in general ok, but all the graphic images and the story is so unnecessary. I just hate how she preys on people like this, it’s so manipulative.

I haven’t taken notice of TH since their ridiculous Bieber gate but does this not seem suss??!!!! Am I the only one that thinks she would drag the poor baby to hospital and claim she suspected an ingestion just to demand an xray for content??

Is it not alarming that her kids have experienced all of these incidents and been featured in her content in ‘real’ situations?? If she’s in the business of preventing such things why do all of these things seem to happen to her kids??!!

It's a weird take considering that SIDS/Red Nose recommend dummies as they have been shown to lower the risk of SIDS and say remove by 2-4 years of age. Tiny Hearts just froth the fear for $$$.

Major eye roll to how delayed they were in getting the baby’s injection at 9 weeks rather than 6. The business is built on sharing shocking and traumatic images and stories of sick kids. I’m surprised they waited given how our and about they always are as a fam.

Came here to say this… ironic that she loves sharing fear mongering government update of meningococcal outbreaks and cases of measles etc but CHOOSES to delay her baby’s first vaccinations… we had to delay on our baby’s 6 week vaxxes because of illness and I was terrified to take them out..she’s just been exposing that child to the kid’s school and kinder germs, taking it to shopping centres and restaurants as well as into the office… interesting she doesn’t practice what she’s preaches..and is dumb enough to share it
