I think she’s living and learning, being honest and making some mistakes now and again.

She comes across as very human to me, in an Instagram world full of fakes.
I too have had lengthy DMs with her and she came across as concerned, open and genuine. Far more than any other instagrammer.

Oh poor NSSN being totally stressed out with work and having to take time out. These woman have no idea, with their au pairs at home and middle class lifestyle. I can’t afford to go to a coffee shop with a friend never mind taking time out to lunch. We juggle childcare and I am lucky to see my husband for an hour a week!
‘It’s not gonna come crashing down if you stop for a bit.” I might try that tactic when I’m teaching tomorrow. ‘Sorry kids. Overwhelmed. Just gonna go and light some jo Malone and do an instastory.’ These overwhelmed mamas really don’t know they’re born. I know it’s all relative bla bla bla but these lucky fuckers who work from home doing branding social media bollocks have no fucking idea. To be fair, she was a teacher but still...I think I’m one of those bitter old hags who are just jealous. They’re right on this one.

CT really is thick as mince. I hope that the tax man does some serious investigating around her. She said that they paid for Mauritius themselves and it wasn’t a gift - holidaying over Christmas & NEw Years is extortionate and that would have cost £10k minimum. Also the latest ski trip wasn’t declared as a gift/ad so presumably they paid for that too? She must be raking it in and I honestly do not see the appeal. She literally just seems like a grumpy, nagging always pissed off slob, hardly “aspirational”. And what’s with all the gurning

Hi Clemmie T, you’ve clearly been on here today hence the massive arse covering exercise you’ve just put up. How about engaging your brain when you upload content and not taking your followers for mugs 🤷🏻‍♀️

& don’t they realise we
Genuine question....(and I’m not an instamum- far from it!) if you dislike these people, why do you follow them / watch their stories / consume their content? If I don’t like something or it annoys me, I just stop watching it? I’m honestly interested! It seems bonkers to me to spend my time doing something (following/watching someone) who makes me feel a negative feeling. They are a business....with anything else in life would you keep consuming a product from a business you dislike/don’t believe in?
Shell and the littlies is killing me off. So many hidden ads. Never any genuine organic content and she comments on literally every insta ‘persons’ posts to look like she’s bezzies with everyone.
ShellandtheLittle’s is a power hungry cow. And she follows you to get a follow back and unfollows you as soon as you do. Unfollowed back ha!

I think that these Instagramers really are highlighting their middle class white privileged lifestyle by thinking that people are put on the earth to do things for them.

CT with the tax office being magically able to know when their earnings reach a certain limit.

SD - don’t buy her flowers brought this home to me today with her adoption stories. Her family looked after fostered and adopted kids and it gave HER so much empathy. These children were not there for HER benefit, but that wasn’t what she talked about. It was about how much she gained from them. Total middle class white privledge in action.

MOD trying to be relatable about solo parenting - she has no idea.

Her exhibition will be a performance of how poverty stricken she is, with laments about her near 1mil home not selling and children teething and keeping her awake. Also about coping alone now that her husband's 3year paternity is nearly up....shock horror gasp.....she will be doing the school run ALONE!!!! The exhibits will include a drawbridge, a poster of that place in Cornwall (so affordable dahling!) and a bottle of gin. ?

On a serious note what did her and her husband work as before it all got too much?

Sorry I’ve been travelling for work.....also wasn’t quite in the frame of mind to start a “debate” with MP. Was shocked that within seconds of naming her she was on here- very bizarre and slightly annoying? I felt somewhat vilified for having an opinion about her McDonalds thing- which is why I NEVER comment on posts on Instagram, I don’t have time to argue with the followers, they think what they want until they start to see through it all.
Anyway, my opinion is that 3/4 years ago MP had a nice Instagram feed and then I dunno what happened! It became a business? It’s contrived? Now I’m sure plenty of people love it and that’s great, but I don’t - I’m sure if MP followed me she’d hate my insta so surely you can’t be upset that not everybody likes you? That’s another issue- the instamums only follow the instamums- to me that just means they are living in a bubble/an echo chamber? I get that they can’t follow everyone but maybe step out your tiny world and look at different perspectives. When I joined insta I followed all the insta mums and one by one I unfollows because there is a big world out there. I often follow the likes of CB who I don’t agree with but I love that she pushes me to think outside the box? But the likes of MP, CT, the Hayward’s of this world- OMG it’s just not a reality but it’s scary that they think they are?

They are a bit like teenagers in that sense. A bit naive and desperately trying out new ‘edgy ‘ identities.’ But without the self awareness to realise that they are walking cliches. They’ve got to be a bit thick haven’t they?

Getting your 6 year old to take photos of your wedgie from the best angle is unbelievable.

It looks like the "parenting programme" (jeez) was put together by Cat Sims (Not So Smug Now) so is it really any wonder that the line up is just a selection of her usual instamum mates? I mean, DLAM, clemmie telford, the ODs, the Pukkas, the Pizz up crew: they would all hang out together at the opening of an envelope anyway if you provided a graffiti wall and some Prosecco so it doesn't really look like great deal of effort (nor much thought) went into this. Sounds boring as shit anyway. The only frame of parenting reference for many of them are babies and primary school age kids anyway.

I just don’t get the raving about Susie Verrill. Maybe I haven’t hung around long enough oj her feed but it looks pretty generic AD/gift/picture of children/picture doing mum stuff. What am I missing?

I appreciate that everyone has issues going on in their life and that a lot of crap goes on behind the Insta curtains. As much as influencers don't owe the public anything (beyond transparency and adherence to ASA guidelines) I don't feel that the public owe anything to influencers either. In many ways the public are the bread the butter as without those numbers there would be no ads/collabs/paid partnerships. That crafty woman posting about the shoes had a point IMO; whether she is goady or not I've no idea as I don't follow or know her. Influencers (or anyone on social media) should not have to deal with slurs or derogatory behaviour but they IMO as a public figure do have a duty to keep their business personas professional. I was watching Candice's stories after the incident fully expecting her apologize, as to me she is a person with high integrity. I think the crafty person's point could have opened up a good debate about dealing with debt and still being able to live your life.

So there is a mum called @nomoretwo4, I came across her yesterday and what she said really did strike me- she has a daughter with autism and has hit up some of the insta mums to share some bits for her. Now don’t get me wrong, I know that they can’t be shouting out everything but she said that she didn’t even get a response, nothing. These are supposed to be all hip socialist trendy loving mums, they wanna be cash caraways friend and be all about social responsibility but the only thing they shout out is each other or whatever podcast they’ve been interviewed on that week. Nothing else. Oh well apart from smears, periods, and obviously since they all want a scamp and dude sweater so jumped on that bandwagon of chastising ASDA for “copying the very successful small business”
They all really need to have a word with themselves!

Poor old Clemmie T’s having to field off negative comments (no, not trolls, just genuine feedback) all evening about the ridiculous cost of the freebie Cornish holiday she and her fellow huns have just been on. Super defensive but she must know it’s true and feel ever so slightly shameful (actually, I doubt it). Tbh, what is more unbelievable is the fact that marketing depts. are still investing in this genre of insta phonies. Surely they must realise they’re fast losing any relatability to their so called target audiences (it’s not all about bloody numbers - they’re becoming a laughing stock). There again, why not make hay while the sun shines, I guess I would if I found myself in their position - they’ve probably got a couple more years to get away with this “grabby grabby” behaviour before they fade back into obscurity again.
Grabby grabby until she ends up bankrupt again! Her spending and lack of commitment that her and her husband show to work are gobsmacking......oh I forgot he’s on “paternity”......or trying to become the next FOD!

Clemmie Telford has spent the last few days going on about dashing home, nearly wetting herself, cue lots of messages from posters about their own wetting incidences which she then listed - big co-incidence that today she’s a discount offer for some company selling pelvic floor exercise gadgets and announcing she’ll be running a competition with the company next week.

If I were one of the people who messaged her with their ‘funny’ wetting stories, I’d be feeling a little used now - she was just drumming up interest.

I actually agree with you.. that post could have opened up a debate about the subject you have mentioned above.. I can boldly say “I” would have dealt with it differently.. however, even though I share the same bed with Candice, I am not going through what she is going through, so expecting her to respond how I would have responded could prove a bit problematic.. whilst I say there’s a lot going on in the background, it isn’t excuse to speak to anyone in that manner, neither is it right to make assumptions on people’s intentions..
