CB used threatening language, it was nothing to do with her being a passionate PoC. It would have still been aggressive if it came from a white woman. She has been great about surfacing issues regarding privilege and discrimination which is why I felt very conflicted about unf ollowing. It all felt a bit Cash Carr away to me, her language and tone was bullying and power seeking.

If Papa B is reading, please (if you haven't already) consider the impact of excluding your eldest child from the grid. There may be a whole host of reasons why she doesn't appear, but as a child whose father went onto have a 'second' family and they had portraits and #familytime whilst I visited at the weekend's it all felt as if I was a guest member. I don't mean that in a goady way either.

This really surprises me. I don't follow her but I do get the impression that she is very genuine. I also don't really see her as an Instamum, she is very clear that IG is a platform for her work. She has made fun of a few products she has been sent (anyone remember the vag wash?) and she isn't a blagger either. It’s not a charity. She’s collecting money and “apparently” donating to women that need it. Only when she first started she wasn’t working. She moaned she had no money. A week after she started collecting money she took her kid shopping he had brand new DM’s. A little bit sceptical. Especially when it’s not a registered charity and the money is going to her personal PayPal.

I've just unfollowed thatmummysmile, she's posted a story about her brilliant mum and said 'so this is why I've got her this...' and the next god knows how many stories are her waffling about a piece of jeweller she's 'giving' her mum..which is bloody gifted!

I'd be more than happy to be given something that someone else had been gifted, but don't witter on about how she's so deserving etc and then advertise something.

She even went on to ask for suggestions for people that weren't a middle class background etc. However, recently talked about her return of podcast and someone asked about lack of diversity and she said well she has to pick big followers for money for carrying on with the podcast. That is the day I unflowred her.

What's iffy is Alright Babs. Huge wannabe inastamum. Smalltime fraudster. Not So Smug Now is a businesswoman, she knows how to do things properly. There's no transparency with Godiva Woman. She gave a bed to a young woman called P and shared a message from her. No photo of the person, no name, which is fair enough tbh as she is escaped from DV. But there's no explanation for how Dani found her or how much money people donated to Dani to buy a bed for P. Doesn't even say how much the bed costs. No receipts. She also raised a lot for the Mud kitchen giveaway but hasn't said what she's done with it. This is terrible. No proper business or charity works like that which is why it's shit that big instamums promoted her and got people to send money to her personal account.

Yeah she gave other stuff that people sent to a woman's aid shelter. She was a middle man. A middle man doing photo ops and getting credit.

This weird little ad keeps popping up on my feed too. Anyone else see it? Looks like over 20,000 people have so I can’t be the only one. View attachment 8651It’s quite an expensively produced TV sort of ad featuring Erica Davies and her Hillary’s blinds. The weird thing is it doesn’t show on EDs feed or on Hillary’s main feed it just pops up as a sponsored post and then disappears into the ether. But clearly ED’s shutters are all either gifted or an AD from Hillary’s, including the ones in her newly decorated play room (that mural, my eyes ). These haven’t ever been disclosed on her feed even though the playroom was done only a few months ago. This is so misleading for anyone aspiring to a lifestyle and home like theirs.

Oh noooooo. So the insta comments about this revolutionary £250 breast pump that's a "game changer" for working mum's... SO SO sad. It's just a gimmick and throwing your money away and grabbing vulnerable people makibg them think they need to spend that money!!! Why can't the instamums just refuse to promote it! As if new mums don't have enough pressure and confusion about what to spend money on for your kids. Seriously, all the instamums commenting supporting it. So bad. Just leave everyone alone. Breast pumping doesn't work better because of the type of pump ... different pumps suit different bodies, for some people pumping just won't work at all, the noise pumps make well it's annoying but not £250 worth annoying, it still looks obvious that you're pumping and tbh if you've got the TV on loud enough while you're doing it, who cares? Trying to convince people to spend money on it is just shit. It would be better convincing people to get help and advice from experts and spend money in their help, and advise in either actual breastfeeding or by using a standard hand or electric pump for a fraction of that price! Its sooo annoying. And simply by saying, yeah I did say it was expensie, doesn't make your "review" any better (Clemmie Telford).
