I can't understand why a mother with young children in the house would open the door when it is dark outside and she hears a violent sounding commotion. I would have kept my doors firmly locked and nothing would have persuaded me to open them. Blame obviously lies with the murderer but I just don't understand Cheryl's actions.

The sad reality of all of this is that a large percentage of those saying, cashmans scum, I hope he rots in prison etc will be out in Liverpool city centre as we speak having a few cheeky lines off some grotty bog. I'm not saying she's not a wrong un I don't know the girl but she isn't is a criminal or a murderer. And she's still the only one on that stand
speaking oit against Cashman whether she was backed into a corner or not she's up there speaking her truth. I applaud her for that.

I do in a way but at the same time find it so unsettling that she didn’t go to the police straight away. It took them kicking her door off and swooping on a train for her to give a statement otherwise I don’t think she would have.
Her obsession with him is also bizarre genuinely think if he said to her don’t give a statement let’s go on the run to Spain together she would go sailing off into the sunset with him no fucks given.
All of them involved are the dregs of society, the witness, cashman, cashmans bird, knee etc Total dragged up scumbags sooner they all kill eachother off the better. I completely agree. Sleeping with someone else’s boyfriend isn’t my cup of tea, but reading about how this girl has had to go into witness protection, even if her evidence was questionable and laughable she did what she said she was there for getting justice for Olivia

Exactly this ^^^. It must have took a LOT of courage to testify against him. Not just for fear of reprisals but also because she’d be judged for sleeping with someone else’s partner in the news and social media. It’s just another aspect of this vile situation.

I bet his girlfriend knew what he was up to and turned a blind eye because of the money benefit side of it. Doubt the witness was the only girl he was messing about with. Imagine being that materialist that you‘d put up with being cheated on and defended a murderer . I’d rather be poor af than have the type of life they live.

I’m absolutely not trying to big him up. You really need to understand this is a platform for discussion. Things get thrown on here to chat about, doesn’t mean you are backing certain people.

this is why cashman is so dangerous. He wanted to shoot people, he took on that role, he could’ve got others to do it no problem. But that’s the difference with him, he was prepared to use a gun at any costs, in any situation. Not many do!

Didn't she say he came at about 12am on the night though? Don't get me wrong I do think he did it but that witness is not credible at all. I picked up on the fact she said obviously Olivias a child and she couldnt keep quiet but she wasn't fussed about TC's kids when having the affair. Hmmmmm.

Not defending her carrying on but its completely different a dead child and kids who might get upset cos their dad's had an affair. Don't know how you can even make that comparison

Is everyone convinced he's guilty? I haven't followed it from the beginning but theres hardly any evidence against him from what I have seen. Do people in the area know it's him but everyones keeping quiet? Genuinely curious

if I was in the jury I would vote guilty and in my mind I could do that without even taking into account the witness. There are too many coincidences with Cashmans movements in the days leading to and after the shooting for his story to be believable. It’s an interesting narrative that she’s is been vilified for been a slut when he was also cheating on the mother of his children and girlfriend of many years and it seems many comments are just blaming her. I don’t know the woman maybe some people leaving comments do. However most of our opinions will be based on what was reported as the court is restricted to family members and press. The defence barrister did a fabulous job of winding her up and showing us all she was a vicious jealous woman who just wanted Turkey teeth Tommy all to herself. The fact that many of the posts on here are about how vile she is shows what a great job he did. The trial is about the murder of a little girl not the morals of a witness.

His barrister has a very good reputation for his cross examination approach too, shown by how irate the witness was getting in the box. Although it must have been very scary for her, I don’t think her overall attitude towards the prosecution would have done her many favours with the jury either.

Anyone local on here, is Cashman the only suspect named around the area or is there people who have put other names about who it may have been? Are there people who genuinely believe it wasn’t him? Be interesting to hear from someone in the same locality.

All I have heard is it’s cashman and he’s known to be a shooter of others too that’s what was flying round
