Just finished last episode. I think Michael
Is attractive because he loves Diana so much and shows it in every way.. I think I love him 😂
I loved the group dance scene where he smiles at Diana! In fact I love the group dance scene so much I’ve rewound it to watch over. Apparently the director used it to show the bonded ‘family’ and it’s expected to feature in loads of real-life weddings/events from now on, especially Scouse ones! The House of Bamboo is definitely going to make the charts. I really enjoyed the whole series and as non-scouse, the accents didn’t annoy me but I can imagine why they would for not being authentic.

Someone on Tik Tok did a video joking they were going round all of Liverpool to find him , obviously just a bit of fun.
Someone in the comments decided to list exactly where he lives. People are crazy!!
They did get called out for doing it

That quote + that face + that accent = the perfect man

I started watching A Thousand Blows to get my fix after This City Is Ours…but it’s not quite doing it for me. Any other suggestions for shows he’s in?
Have you seen time on BBC iPlayer? Jamie, Bonehad & Ronnie are all in that too.

I’m sure he was in the responder

I rewatched Little Boy Blue straight after watching TCIO. Forgot how good and emotional it was! Totally forgot about Time or that he was even in that - think I’ll put it on now. Thank you ☺
The scene where they’re messing about in court made me so angry!! I guess it’s good though. Gave everyone the chance to see the rum they were

As someone from Liverpool who is from the area it happened the acting in Little boy blue was spot on, the way James played James Yates was to an actual T. I love to see scousers praised for their acting rather than bad mouthed. Fingers crossed for a series 2

Terrible! I thought maybe that was artistic license but googled it and apparently they did act like that. I can’t even imagine how infuriating and heartbreaking that must have been. Just adds insult to injury.

Does James Nelson-Joyce do any other accents or has he always played a scouser?

He’s in A Thousand Blows playing a Londoner (I much prefer his scouse accent though)
