Terrible! I thought maybe that was artistic license but googled it and apparently they did act like that. I can’t even imagine how infuriating and heartbreaking that must have been. Just adds insult to injury. The scene where they’re messing about in court made me so angry!! I guess it’s good though. Gave everyone the chance to see the scum they were
I was rooting for Michael tooBinge watched the whole series over a few nights and was holding my breath during the final episode. I know Jamie and Michael are both baddies of the worst kind, but for some strange reason I found myself rooting for Michael
. BBC -series 2 please!!
It’s SO good! Gives me something to look forward to each week. Can recommend Mobland for those who like this! Tom Hardy is filling the Michael thirst trap
He’s in Time and Little Boy Blue if you haven’t seen those. It was OK, not a patch on Kin or Gangs of London, which is what I was expecting but still watchable.
Agree some of the casting/accents were questionable only one of the female roles is played by someone born in Liverpool (Melissa)
Losing Stephen Walters so early on was a big mistake, he’s a fantastic actor.
Thought the actors playing Bonehead and Banksey did a fab job and there is something about James Nelson JoyceI’ll be googling what else he’s been in and watching them now.
Paul Usher is a great shout by the way. Maybe next series he could be cast.
There is definitely something about Banksy, I saw the actor given an interview and it's only as Banksy, which is weirdLewis not my cup of tea - I can see what you mean but nah.
To be fair, Mike Noble isn’t my cup of tea either - my husband’s closer to Jarvis Cocker than anyone else I can think of, both in looks, figure and style. Perfect for me!
Something about Banksy though. I’d eat him like a snack.
Stephen Graham is in series 1 as wellNot seen Time have the other one, I’ll look Time up. thankyou
I’m from Essex so I wouldn’t be able to tell if they were bad tbhMost of the girls accents were so far off being Scouse it was unbelievable apart from the girl with the dark hair who had the baby to the big fella son she was half convincing. I think they cast Micheals girlfriend completely wrong she wouldn’t be like that.
I wrote my comment before seeing yours!I have watched all episodes and really enjoyed it,people are calling it Scouse sopranos but I would call it Scouse gomorrah,Jamie is like Gennaro Savastano who listens to much to his idiot friends,I can also see similarities between Julie Graham's character Elaine and lady imma from gomorrah.
This is why when I first saw the trailer for this, I thought it was a new series of Time. It’s got so many of themHave you seen time on BBC iPlayer? Jamie, Bonehad & Ronnie are all in that too.
Yeah, jack and James played their part perfectly. I do think Sean could’ve attempted a Scouse accent to make it more convincingI’m from Essex so I wouldn’t be able to tell if they were bad tbh
When I first saw the trailer I did think it was a third series of Time when I saw it had Sean Bean, Jack McMullen and James Nelson-Joyce
That’s her!Was she the scouser with the terrible filler that went mental over Joey Essex on LI? If so, wow!![]()
I rewatched Little Boy Blue straight after watching TCIO. Forgot how good and emotional it was! Totally forgot about Time or that he was even in that - think I’ll put it on now. Thank youTime and Little Boy Blue
He’s so goodGood call, You can never get enough Paul Usher!
