This bleeping thing from Looks who’s talking
I was just minding my own business scrolling on Facebook when this horror popped up 
Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World. I remember this being on prime time TV in the early 80s and featured delights such as raining frogs, UFOs, Stonehenge and the like.
The opening credits and theme tune to World in Action, ie the multi limbed naked man. Can't remember the actual show as probably too dull for a primary aged schoolchild as myself.
I seem to remember both Arthur and Naked Man being on during the same period of time ie early 80s on prime time ITV.
And the real corker which still sends chills is the levitating/exploding girl in the 1979 adaptation of Quatermass.
All on ITV just before bedtime and guaranteed nightmares!

Omg knightmare. I agree with you aniut costumes, even now anyone with their face covered is terrifying. Disneyland would be my idea of hell. Knigtmare adds that and then being chasedShadows

I remember taking my daughter to Disneyland Paris when she was about 4 and she was terrified of the characters at first. However the characters were very good and they picked up immediately that the child was nervous so ignored her and came to me and just gave me big cuddles and waved at my daughter from a distance. She soon became very comfortable with them.Shadows
