Totally agree with what Glastonbury has become. I used to go every year when it was a manageable size to negotiate and tickets were affordable and fairly easy to buy. It was a fantastic festival and I have some great memories.

Then it all got very commercial. Suddenly it ballooned in size. It became horribly expensive and an absolute ball ache to get tickets. It took forever to walk between stages, queue for toilets, queue for food and drink. People were no longer going for the music and the vibe, they were going because of the sudden increase in marketing of the festival and the BBC suddenly deciding to lose their tit over it. I stopped going and instead went to smaller festivals which are much more fun if you're genuinely there for the music and not just to brag on Insta.

I mean, good on Emily Eavis, she's made an absolute fortune out of that festival. But she's also killed what her mum and dad set up back in the day when it really was a very special place indeed.

Nothing is better than sparkling water in summer 😭

I hate drinking so early in the day. Usually people tend to have bottomless brunches in the summer months and day drinking + the heat makes me feel terrible and want to go back to bed at 6pm.

That's the point haha now I'm older I prefer day drinking, start early, finish early, go to bed at a decent time and feel ok the next day 🤣 none of this going out at 9pm balls

Haha but it feels like a waste of the day to me. You get absolutely wrecked by 3pm and need to go to bed at 6pm when it's still light out.

I go and do other things during the day like gym, errands, coffee, walks etc and then go out for two or three drinks at 8pm which lasts me until closing time at 11pm - I feel fine the next day too as I've not overdone it.

Now I've written that out I realise how boring that sounds :censored:

I get it I like that too and I don't like drinking as much now I'm older, prefer being up for doing other stuff. But when I do go out drinking properly, I prefer an early one. But if I go out between 1-3 I will be out till 9/10pm. I don't actually see a point having just one drink as all it does is make my head hurt and affect my sleep but don't even feel tipsy from it 😂 to be fair your way is much healthier haha

I am the same with going out earlier and that's why I don't as well 😂 . I know if I get a taste for it I will be out until the pubs shut so now I force myself to go out later so I don't overdo it 😂

Autumn and winter! I always get so pissed off every year when people are cheering for months of rain, cold, frost, etc. I don’t want to wear sweaters or nap or drink soup and hot chocolate. I just want decent weather

White rendered houses with black windows, shiny patio slabs that look like they belong indoors in a chavvy kitchen, and plastic grass

Watermelon and Feta salad. In my area that stuff is in every supermarket (always made with the most tasteless feta) and my sister brought it to a bbq. It's disgusting, stop spoiling perfectly nice melons.

This may have been mentioned before, but brioche buns for burgers. They look pretty, yellow and shiny, but are too soft and sweet.

That will have been me !!! I've definitely complained about that before. Horrid things.

I went to a Wetherspoons for the first time ever at the weekend. My favourite thing? Their burger came in a non brioche bun. I shall be returning. 🤣
