Any sort of variety/stand-up act that involves puppets. Especially ventriloquism - hideous. When I was a kid that snooty one used to freak me out...Lord Charles or something?

Gyms. I guess I get why it's motivating for people to be in a crowd while they are working out but I absolutely hate everything about it. Stuffy changing rooms, waiting for the machines, rank people not caring about their hygiene, gross guys trying to chat you up while you're pretending to be invisible, too keen class instructors or those who won't even bother with you... Even talking about it gets on my nerves.

This year I'm sticking to home workouts a bit more often and I'm realising that I don't actually hate moving, I just hate how I tried to do it in the past because when one decided to exercise, signing up for the gym was the done thing.

I agree. The idea of going to the gym straight from work is my idea of hell. Even just the amount of stuff you have to remember (gym clothes, shower stuff, some clean stuff for after, £1 for the locker and so on) would wear me out.

I was a regular gym goer, like 3-4 times a week and I am looking forward to it opening again for my mental health. I have anxiety so I dread walking in and seeing men especially, I’ve had occasions where they stare at my a on the treadmill/cross trainer. I’ve noticed most people aren’t interested in other people and are there for themselves. I like it as well as it’s my hour to myself to listen to music and get out of the house.

I think home workouts are the way forward though. There’s so many workouts on YouTube now.

Bit of a weird one but Pete & Sophie off Gogglebox. It turns my stomach how they say “Pete, and his little sister Sophie”. They’re uncomfortably close & he gives me the creeps 🤮

Hopefully been mentioned a million times already but game of thrones. Bloody dragon bits and incest and that droney theme tune that feels like it’s sucking my soul out every time it comes on. Winter is not coming, the tv remote is coming to turn this pile of absolute rit off.

Upstairs bathrooms. I’ve only lived in one house where it was upstairs and I didn’t particularly like it. Dion Dublin on Homes Under the Hammer is always “first thing, get the bathroom upstairs!”, even when it’s a tiny two bed terrace 🤣 give it a rest.
