Front row and back row requests are normal. Rockin Rollercoaster has a separate mini line for front row requests when you reach the cast member asking how many in your party. The Hulk has its own full queue for only front row. I myself have requested front row on Soarin because I like going up higher and not having feet in my view. And have had friends request back row for Thunder Mountain. Not a Stan of them at all, just stating the truth. I know everyone on these sites want to find any reason to pick them apart. But asking for front row happens every day for rides. So yes anyone can get front row. Your wait time will just be longer. But not by much, depending on how many people are ahead of you. I think Hagrids is the only one you cant because the load area is single file and on a moving walk way.
We're aware of this (at least I am, as a former CM), but this is Tim we're talking about.
Anyone who knows Tim (and the person he has become), knows these requests are different than the average guest.
Bingo there is a difference between requesting a certain spot and what Tim is doing. Tim straight up said he will not ride a coaster unless he gets the front row at the moment. If I request the back row on Big Thunder and the CM says they aren't honoring requests because of x,y,z I am still going to ride wherever they assign me. Tim will straight up walk out of the ride if he doesn't get the front row.
Of course they're going to let Tim get what he wants because he's vlogging. If they deny him he'll bash them on the vlog so it's easier if they just let him. The problems come when everyone who watches him thinks well Tim did it so I can do it too, then they get pissed off when they don't get what they want
I know this thread is about Dim and Jenn, but did anyone watch Ryno's vlog about his first experience at the Parks since they reopened....he seems more fearful than Tim but actually attempted to do things....he nearly had a panic attack on MMRR because the line nearly stopped and then when he the ride whips you around he touched part of the ride vehicle. He already was a confessed germaphobe, this pandemic has made him a neurotic mess.
Yeah I was watching that earlier. He said that he's not even taking his mask off to drink water. That's so unsafe. He's going to get heat stroke and pass out.
In the past he's always said he doesn't mind meeting their viewers. I can imagine it now. Someone sees him and wants to say hi. He sees them and takes off running. Screaming like a little girl as he runs away. If he's that paranoid, he needs to not go. Then to hear him describing the bag that he takes with him to check his mail. Wow....
Ryno doesn't bother me because he's real about who he is. I even appreciate the fact that he will (politely) say something if he sees somebody without a mask on. Some of his colleagues have complained about people not wearing a mask, and nobody telling them anything. I understand that it can be confrontational, but if you truly are concerned about your health, than YOU tell them something (or, don't go to the parks everyday). Otherwise, you're just annoyed that people are breaking the rules and you're on some kind of high horse about it.
Tim, in comparison, seems like somebody who isn't as paranoid as someone like Ryno, but he already made bold claims, so now he has to keep that narrative going instead of just admitting that he overreacted. I mean, he voluntarily went to every major park in the area, multiple times, but he's acting like being there is going to kill him. It seems disingenuous.
I wish that some of them would go to the beach. I've seen enough of the parks. Go take a day trip to the beach, a park, an old fort... something. I think even Jenn and the baby can do that.

Given that Jenn barely leaves the house, I doubt they would both leave for something like going to the beach.
But I do agree that Tim should go to other spots instead of just the resorts to change it up from what everyone else is doing, besides everything is getting a bit stale if he's just doing the same old thing each any every vlog.
I also think with the front of line thing, Give someone else a chance! You can visit the park whenever you like... it’s your job. People travel all over the world for a limited time and don’t experience the same privilege.
Does anyone watch ResortTV1? I really like those guys and their live streams of the parks are always fun to watch. The whole family just seem like huge Disney fans (their parents included) and it radiates off their videos.
So, I just watched a video where Jenna talks about her being infertile and it was heartbreaking. Just made me think of Jenn's self diagnoses of being infetrtile, when this poor woman actually is and has tried, medically, and through adoption, to have kids, and nothing has worked out for her and her husband. She says the only thing they haven't tried is surrogacy, because of how expensive it is.
Anyway, the difference when someone is genuine and honest about things to their followers, compared to sympathy reaching Jenn, becomes more and more obvious.

I watch Resort TV1 and I like their channel and what they are trying to do with a positive community. You can tell they truly love Disney. Both Josh and Jenna show their Disney geekiness in different ways and it is endearing.
I did not know that about Jenna, but outside of live streams or their relaxing stroll videos, I don’t watch their regular vlogs much. That is so sad for her and Dale.

I’m a former cast member too. Just wanted to make it clear it’s not that huge of a deal to ask. Happens everyday probably hundreds of times a day. It takes a milassecond of time to have the party step to the side and wait. But I get that if he didn’t get front row, which most likely would have never happened with the parks so empty and wait times so low, he wouldn’t have rode. Which is silly. I guess you can’t trust that everyone will keep their masks on. And he’s not getting the request only because of who he is. Not everybody knows who he is haha I do find it odd that when he went to sea world and Busch gardens on the coasters and I don’t believe he made those requests he just rode wherever they sat him. Strange. People seem to be abiding by the rules (at that time) more at Disney than Sea and Busch.
