Can someone explain the Christmas Spectacular to me 😂 I watched up until their own rendition of '12 days of Christmas'
I couldn't take anymore, what the hell is this madness?!

I turned it off too. It’s probably one of the most cringey/worst things I’ve ever watched on YouTube. Their “fans” are as deluded as they are. (I put fans like that, as they’re more like weird cult members that would probably throw you in their boot if you criticised in the comment section)

Some peak "beige food" content in the CWoA Winter's Tail vlog - Charlotte's utter disgust that the Christmas Chicken Burger has... BRIE AND CRANBERRY SAUCE IN IT!:eek::eek: I mean, what are you expecting, burger cheese and ketchup? Give me STRENGTH, they won't go out of their comfort zone for one moment. What's for Christmas dinner Charotte? Well Shawn, it's dry chicken dippers, Alphabites, and spaghetti hoops with an Aldi branded Fruit Shoot on the side. Here we go then!

I like a bit of beige food as much as the next, but I also love Brie and things with flavour as well - and even - GULP - fruit and veg!

I know it's mentioned a lot about how they have a limited diet and only eat beige things. However, the Chessington vlog feels like a new low. Complaining that there's melted brie on a Christmas chicken burger? That actually looked like a huge upgrade on the normal food at Chessington.

It also feels like if they're going to stop the channel getting stale with visiting the same 7 parks multiple times a year. Being able to show the new food offering would really help.
Sorry - didn't spot this post before mine on the next page - you've literally spotted and noted the one same thing as me in that vlog, ha! Wound me right up!

I'm catching up on the latest vlogs as I couldn't bare to watch TPW on Christmas Eve/Day/Boxing Day... and now I can't not question how Shawn says these two words:

Duplo - why does Shawn say DO-PLO? FFS. Drives me nuts listening to him.
Jumanji - it is pronounced {joo-mun-gee}, not how he says it {joo-MAN-gee}.

And it has nothing to do with his accent. I've never heard anyone say 'Do-plo' before Shawn. And how did Chessington not tell him when they gave him that tour of the building site the other month about Jumanji? 'Er, Shawn, this is our new ride so it would be good if you said it correctly...' Honeessstllly, infuriates me. Particularly because he will blabber on about the new coaster for the next few months and years, all whilst pronouncing it incorrectly 🙄

Who bets that Shawn pronounces Waitrose (correctly Wai-trose) - Wait (small break) rose?

Be fair, I have never heard anyone call it “Jumunji”. Everyone I know says “Jumanji”… though it doesn’t often come up in conversations. Americans have a thang for flat vowels, so it could just be an accent thing (like when they say Miluhn” instead of “Milan”. I dunno. I just think of all the things that we could criticise, mispronouncing a word that’s made-up anyway, is far down my list.

It is not irrelevant when he mentions the word dozens of times in vlogs, not just Chessington ones... the other things about Charlotte and Shawn I wouldn't say, he looks far healthier than he did before the first lockdown in 2020. Misunderstanding grammar, mispronunciation of words and repetitive use of phrases on the other hand is fair game to criticise IMO because if your job is to make video content, speaking English properly is pretty important.

I’ve never heard anyone say “jumunji” either, Google seems to agree that it’s pronounced “ju-man-jee” 🤷🏻‍♂️

https://www.howtopronounce.com/jumanji 😂 I've never heard joo-MAN-gee other than Shawn but I have not seen the film since I was a child...

I have to also add the defence of Shawn's awful (even in his own opinion) pronunciation is receiving is making me laugh. People make snide comments about Shawn's appearance, Charlotte's and Shawn's teeth etc. and nobody defends them. I make a comment about their appalling grammar / pronunciation and morons are there to protect stupidity. This website has some members with seemingly bizarre morals. Appearance mickey-taking = fine. Pointing out mind-numbing use of the English language = not fine 🤯

Woah woah woah, calm down, I’m not a “moron”, who’s defending any shoddy English. I agree entirely, if someone’s job is to talk, then they should talk properly. But Jumanji is a completely made-up word, which I’ve only ever heard people pronounce with an “a”, so yes. That’s down my list. I don’t have “bizarre morals”; if he were to mangle a sentence, I’d be gleefully pointing it out. But this is like gif and jif: jif is an approved way of saying it (it’s actually how the inventor of the gif says it himself), but it doesn’t really matter because it’s made-up. It might set your teeth on edge that he pronounces Jumanji Jumanji, but it’s not actually a grammatical blooper.

I would guess either Germany/Belgium / Netherlands or Orlando.
He said it was somewhere they had never been before, so definitely none of those places. They have been to all of them in the past 3 months.
It’s just about nailed on Australia

If it is Australia it will be interesting to see how many views they get to pay the trip off.
I’ll watch it, through gritted teeth 😂
There’s not many vloggers go so far afield. As a coaster nerd it will be interesting to see what’s over there
