But seriously, why do we even need to know this? I feel like we look to vloggers to show us what’s in the parks. Getting a pass is a personal, financial issue and I would never look to vloggers to help me figure out if it was right for me. The bloggers don’t need to post this stuff, no one cares.

There is inflation and a recession that not many are thriving in right now.

Moreover, the majority of your audience just had to dig deeper in their own pockets TODAY to renew their own passes (and those people don’t want to hear anyone else soliciting or telling a “woe is me story” on the same day after they had to write that bigger check).

Think of the perception to others that in your “full time” job of Vlogging that you cannot invest back $133 a month into your channel to cover Disneyland (the premier park west of the Mississippi) for your audience that you just shook down last week to subscribe to your Instagram.

I discovered him in 2019 and quite liked him at first. Quite vanilla but informative, nice and normal. But as it went on and his channel grew he just seemed to come across less and less sincere and got more and more beggy.

Totally agree, his channel used to be better. I always found him boring but he did have better info. He Totally lost me in 2020. He was just obnoxious. Didn't take anything seriously. Then when he begged for money for his magic key after talking trash about the program. Thar was the last straw for me

He used to do or attempt to go live and it was sad. He had like 20 views and almost no super chats. He tried patreon and failed but I believe he got it going again.

He also had buy me a coffee for awhile but got rid of that.

I cannot figure it out lol but his whole begging for money after whining like a baby regarding whatever he was is so annoying. I think he really thought he would end up getting to go on the star cruiser

Some of these Theme Park Vloggers just love trying to be the Main Attraction. They want to shine brighter than anything else with their personalities.

I find it ridiculous and disingenuous to your audience that was first attracted to your content because of the subject matter - not the show within the show.

The good news is that Dylan has zero personality so we never have to worry about him ever trying to shine brighter than the main star (the theme park itself).

Can someone tell me what happens when you get a high number of IG followers? He said he’s hit 101k, which is impressive, but since he doesn’t do sponcon and only a few reels, does having a high number DO anything monetarily?

I do NOT think the 30something patrons followed him over to IG. His engagement is really low too.

He was just at 78K followers, like last week? I checked last night and he climbed pretty quickly from 98 to 99K. This morning 101K? Not sure what's with the quick growth and what happens when one hits 100K followers. But I do remember Katie telling everyone to follow his IG so he'd get to 10K. Apparently that was when you could swipe up to a link

Interesting that he just hinted on his instagram stories that he may be a scare actor again this 2022 haunt season. That might explain why he hasn't been doing as many videos lately. I guess he needs the extra cash since he probably doesn't make enough $$$ from the youtube channel.

I think a LOT of his friends do it and it’s easy and fun money. I personally like it when smaller YTers have part time jobs because then I don’t feel bad if I miss watching a few epis.
