This. Singularly each thing is ‘ok’. All together though the items in the room are just uninspiring and drab. It’s the opppsite of style and is definitely not ‘cool’ as she likes to believe she is.

Agreed and the novelty has definitely worn off … far too much to do and getting nowhere fast … wait until baby arrives that will be a massive shock to the system

I think you can see that from their life. She seems very secluded and doesn’t seem to have friends. Her house style is bland. One room ok but they are all moulding into the same

Intrigued at the garden progress.
So far it’s not looking great. The patio tiles don’t line up with the fire pit tiles so it just looks off!
She’s put huge steps down from the living room but now has to move a gate because next door is allowed access across if needed, but surely if they did require it you’d not expect them to negotiate steps and a fire pit? I’m not sure legally if they have a right of way you’d have to make it sensible access not just to suit your ‘aesthetic’.

You wouldn’t be able to give me a house that had access rights for the neighbours, let alone entice me to buy one, however appealing the rest of it is. I rented one years ago and it’s a complete pain in the a. It’s ok if you have nice neighbours that want to take the bins through occasionally, but if complete holes who ‘know their rights’ move in, you’re ducked and heading for a world of pain.

Those steps are a terrible idea with a child. No way you can have the door open and not be worried. The tiles not lining up too. That would be the first think i noticed walking out.

She seems quite oblivious to some basics about small children…. hard surfaces, sharp corners, limited grass, GRAVEL!
I’m all for designing spaces you love, but it’s so hard to relax when you’re trying to keep your toddler from eating chippings

Also how will she cope with the basic standard colours she uses being infiltrated with colour! I like the nursery picture but its not a nursery picture is it?!! Will the child be able to have a primary colour jumperoo etc. agree with the poster re dust collevtor at the top of the wardrobe too. I wonder if the baby will bring her back to ground and she might look back and also laugh about it all. The firepit, huge concrete steps etc. not a huge fan if rvk but they made a lovely outdoor place area for their children. Patio doors that you can’t open with a toddler due to death trap steps into a fire pit area at the bottom surrounded by gravel. Very child friendly….

The joint lines are off on the separate parts of the patio. How is that not triggering?
