My friend has just messaged me to ask if I had seen her stories yesterday, apparently the ones that were posted late Sunday evening which have now been deleted. I missed them, binge watching Queen Of The South on Netflix.

It was regarding AF links, swipe ups, items that were sent to her to review; companies that she works with. Apparently the links that she provides are to help her followers and not for monetary gain.

It was the usual instagrammer script about how she always discloses ads, gifted items and affiliated links very clearly - absolute rubbish as I had reported her to the ASA for hiding a #AD

She went on to say that the swipe ups are to help her followers find the items and she doesn’t use affiliates because she isn’t interested in the money. She claims to have started up her Instagram account to share home decor ideas with others and that as she has always been herself and not bought followers it has meant her Instagram has grown naturally and as a result much more slowly than others.

Today we have a white dreamy tree skirt, tacky Angel wings & faux flowers which were an AD/PR gift.

Linzi has kindly provided a swipe up for the tree skirt so that we can all find it on the website, at only £49.99; it’s a steal

Today she visited B & M and spent the princely sum of £3.00 on a beautiful pearlescent stag and a white Teddy bedding set for £24.99.

The bedding she purchased was double the price of the cream one that she has already, why she felt the need to tell us this; who knows as the cream set was previously gifted

Yes I did hear her comment on the white interiors, I suppose it makes a change from all the grey, bland homes on the gram. There was a comment on one of her grid posts that her home contained no colour. She replied with, there is colour in my home; Poppy has a pink bedroom
One of her stories yesterday was regarding a new suite that she has purchased from DFS, she has lusted after it for years apparently. She’s not disclosing which one she has purchased, mentioned that it’s the lightest colour in the collection. Big reveal in 8/10 weeks after the room has had a freshen up with a few new tweaks.

Our Linzi was an avid seller on the Facebook groups, until we rumbled her selling items that were only 4/5 weeks old. One such item was a BHS floor light, approx value £140.00, sold for £30.00.

The table and chairs was on her stories, FREE to anyone who could collect, had she not been rumbled it would have been on Facebook for sure.

There were rumours from a Tattler that knows her that her previous bed that was gifted was offered for sale for £500, she did a story and a follower had it; I don’t know if money changed hands.

I HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF ALL THE ITEMS THAT WERE SOLD ON FACEBOOK AND WE ARE TALKING OVER £1300.00, THAT’S A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF MONEY IN ANYONES PURSE

Hopefully she now donates her gifted items to a charitable cause!

tbh, there is way to much stuff being gifted and then people selling them on, she’s not the only one is she they are all at it.

I feel for the people that actually buy this stuff that the influencer recommends so strongly! (An absolutely my have!) and it’s only in their houses for a few weeks! I assume most people would have to save up for things like this only for it to be disregarded because there is something else on the horizon being gifted...
