I’ve never been a cruiser but can someone explain why people are excited to see the Treasure when it’s a replica of the Wish? Seems like a flop when Disney had to resort to inviting the likes of Tim.
I am a DCL fan regardless, but the Treasure looks like a huge upgrade in detail and design. I used to love the parks but prefer the cruises now.
Although the layout is the same, people love the different themes for the spaces. I personally love the main theater shows and can't wait to see Moana. Even though Beauty and the Beast is also on th Fantasy, it is fun to see the version on a newer ship. It will have better technology, lighting, etc.
The dining rotation themes and menus are also different. We love the shows at dinner as well. Plaza de Coco is high on our list and the second show in Marvel. Groot + music is a win for us.
The themed lounges are really fun and unique. The level of detail on the Treasure is well above the Wish (mostly due to the pandemic and supply stuff). We also love the themed drinks and food that differ.

They are desperate for “content” aka using disneys IP to grift some views. DCL and other cruise lines have really dedicated fans though. Ships take awhile to build so there is some real interest. I have heard the treasure is toned down a bit from the wish. The wish looks ‘too Disney’ to me (the dining seems overboard on theming) but the rest of the fleet is nice.
Actually, the Treasure is on crack compared to the Wish. The Wish is beautiful but due to the pandemic delaying things and supply issues, the details are so much less than on the Treasure. Some like the Wish for the light, Princess-y theme, but the Treasure is more diverse in theming which appeals to many as well.
