I’ve never been a cruiser but can someone explain why people are excited to see the Treasure when it’s a replica of the Wish? Seems like a flop when Disney had to resort to inviting the likes of Tim.
Im a cruiser and I hate DCL so I don’t see the excitement but I think it more that this is the only “new” Disney experience. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am a DCL fan regardless, but the Treasure looks like a huge upgrade in detail and design. I used to love the parks but prefer the cruises now.

Although the layout is the same, people love the different themes for the spaces. I personally love the main theater shows and can't wait to see Moana. Even though Beauty and the Beast is also on th Fantasy, it is fun to see the version on a newer ship. It will have better technology, lighting, etc.

The dining rotation themes and menus are also different. We love the shows at dinner as well. Plaza de Coco is high on our list and the second show in Marvel. Groot + music is a win for us.

The themed lounges are really fun and unique. The level of detail on the Treasure is well above the Wish (mostly due to the pandemic and supply stuff). We also love the themed drinks and food that differ.
---

Actually, the Treasure is on crack compared to the Wish. The Wish is beautiful but due to the pandemic delaying things and supply issues, the details are so much less than on the Treasure. Some like the Wish for the light, Princess-y theme, but the Treasure is more diverse in theming which appeals to many as well.
I'm not a cruise fan but your comments/descriptions here make me a bazillion times more interested in learning about Disney cruises than ANYTHING the Trackers have ever put out!!!

Yeah I think Disney is trying to hype up their cruises to distract from the Epic Universe grand opening in a few months. I doubt Disney ever builds another new theme park in Orlando as the investment would too huge to build something Disney quality.

I think people are just starting to get fed up with them, there's no schedule anymore, they just put stuff out whenever they can be bothered, an it doesn't help they seem to have split their fanbase into those that just want parks an the creeps that just want their home vlogs so they only get half the fanbase watching whatever vlog, they have no direction with the channel an it's showing, it started as a vlog about Orlando, they should have kept it like that an threw in Disney an universal vlogs, I know it's their own faults but personally losing out on universal stuff I think has helped kill the channel a bit, they used to do a ton of HHN an those views were always good an now they barely do any universal stuff apart from the odd few, it was the vlogs that originally drew me to them as well as I preferred the universal stuff, but now it's become cruise, eat, trashy airb&b, cruise, eat, repeat etc even the Disney parks are being dropped more an more
Given how competitive the YouTube/Disney/Orlando space is now, channels need to have a unique selling point, along with a strong passion and work ethic, if they’re going to survive and flourish. If you look at other channels (say, Mammoth Club, Carpetbagger, Tampa Jay or TPE), you can often see they have something that marks them out as distinctive (knowledgeable ex-CM, trash culture, horror, morbid obesity…). However, what’s Tim’s angle? What’s he genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about? When he started, I guess he had an ‘average local guy’s view of the parks’, which evidently worked for a while. However, it’s been a long while since he’s been able to represent that. An interest in cookies, hotdogs and furry butts obviously isn’t enough to sustain a channel. Neither, indeed, is the ’obnoxious lazy wife’ storyline. So, what else does he have to offer? It’s not looking good for him, is it?

Nate has a nice long vlog that was just uploaded about the Treasure. That will be the only one I’m watching. Good work, Jen! Can’t wait to not watch yours when it uploads in a week. I’d love to do a DCL trip when my youngest is older. She’s only 3 months, but I think we’d go around when she’s 2 or 3 and able to really participate in a few things. We’re FL locals and husband and I have done a couple RC trips before kids.

Tim's angle at one time were the hotel tours. Even though he went overboard in pointing everything out, it was good and the style was unique. He did it in a way as close to virtual reality as you could get from watching YT. You felt like you were going down the hallway yourself. This was important to see where you would choose to stay. Ironically he barely did any mukbang in any of those vlogs and Ginn was never in them. He would also do this somewhat with the parks as well. He can't get that back because his personality has changed. He is a slob, a glutton and an entitled a now.
I think Disney is completely on the wrong track with their marketing. They think having a bunch of unprofessional YouTubers, influencers making all kinds of choppy content is the way to go. I disagree. One properly produced vlog from Disney themselves of the Treasure is all they need. Even if it is too much puffiness. Pay the influencers to advertise the Disney vlog but don't invite them for two days to cruise on it. I think that was ridiculous.

Are we placing bets about when they will ever get past 911K Subscribers?

The Candle Vid has 53K views and I think a lot of them are from Tattle. I am curious if the candle part shows up as the most replayed section of that video.

Trackers, I think now that your house has been tainted by splattered candle wax, you need to upgrade to a more expensive home like the Real Housewives of whatever have. Spend, spend, spend!!!

Is this jackass at the sail away party in Nate’s video, standing front row center blocking the view of small children, who I think it is?
