I just got a gaming PC and I’m so excited to play Sims again 🥹 it’s been several years since I’ve had a working computer. I have Sims 4 and a few add ons from years back, what are everyone’s favourites? Are there any that really aren’t worth it?

I have all the packs, quite enjoy the cottage one, kindi wish I hadn't bothered with the horse one or the high school, the whole teen at school phase is ok but after a while it's repetitive an kindi annoying, like the notification even few weeks saying proms coming up, when you do prom once you don't really want to do it again, school also wasn't up to much, kid goes to class, has lunch then to class again an then home, it was a bit of a disappointment Tbh, the wedding when it works is good, picking out the bridal party, having stag/hen party's, rehearsal dinners etc then the wedding with walking down the isle, having a toast, speeches etc it's quite funI just got a gaming PC and I’m so excited to play Sims again 🥹 it’s been several years since I’ve had a working computer. oh and twilightI got High School Years in the sale and it’s basically unplayable. The school is so big that as soon as my sim has arrived at the place to do the activity it asks for (e.g. work out on treadmill) the bell rings for class, so then they walk to class and get there 5 mins from the end.
It also makes me miss the open world so much, because you have to choose between having an adult in an active career or a teen in high school or developing infant/toddler skills for younger kids in the family. They’ve got it so wrong.

It must have broke again, they had bother with it when it first launched an then it fixed itself out, I played some then ended up just sending my teen to school because it got kindi boring, it's a pity if it's broke again though, sometimes I wish they would stop on the constant new packs an just focus on what's broken
Dunno if anyone else has this but at times my Sims refuse to sleep, put them to bed an they are up like 2 secs later, have to restart my game to sort it out but it's kinda frustrating, an for a while restaurants were broken as well, could request a table but they wouldn't go to it

I love Sims 4 I never played Sims 2 back when it was out 3 was my intro to the Sims and I couldn't get into 2
They seem to sleep ok when they go to bed normally, it's just random that at times they will refuse an keep getting up despite that energy is in the red, I don't know what causes it
I feel like out them all 4 has been the most broken an buggy even though it's on the better consoles/computers
Oh for sure yes Sims 4 works absolutely tit on my laptop and it's not gaming had to take out mods because one broke my entire game and I had just perfectly made the entire How I Met Your Mother cast
Do you have any mods that need updated? I had this problem, realised I hadn't updated a bunch of mods and it seemed to sort it but I couldn't tell you which one it was causing it.
Or it could just be the game being broken

I had the bed Issue. Buying a new bed solved the problem
I have a bug with my game whenever a sim starts writing a book on the PC and if they stop mid writing it and go back, it always resets to the beginning! It’s so annoying and it’s been like it for ages which frustrates me as it was one of my favourite side hustles to make money

Oh god I had that as well, would annoy me whenever I was trying to get the achievements for it, I've found that it happened more if you sped up the time, so once they got about half way through I slowed the time, also had to keep deleting their next thought as well, like if it popped up that they were going to the bathroom after it, I'd have to immediately cancel it or it would stop
Try the art for quick money, once at level 10 it's pretty good cash especially if they do a masterpiece an it doesn't take too long, also writing music once at level 10 brings in good money
I can't stand the swings in the sims and how they will play until all there moodlets are red ffs
