I’m off sick today so settled down to play Sim4 and a repo-person has just come and repossessed my fireplace because my HORSE hadn’t paid its bills! WTF! And the fireplace was attached to a wall, so they took the wall too

I managed to download the entire sims 2 collection on my laptop and i'm having the time of my life lol. Can't believe how shite sims 4 is. I knew it anyway but now I'm playing sims 2 (no mods or cc btw) its even more evident

Honestly I'm sick of boycotting everything I like. The world is miserable enough without me having to give up anything that brings me joy because someone evil owns it.

Seeing this thread made me want to play sims, so I spent my friday night working out how to get sims 1 to play on my macbook pro. Finally got it working, and it was like I'd never stopped playing. Funny how you can remember things like that from 20 years ago but I can't remember half of what I did yesterday.

I played Sims 1, theme hospital and theme park when I was kid. They were all pirated from some guy my dad worked with lol (as was our copy of windows and our microsoft word), and theme park used to crash constantly because of it hahaha.

There was a post going around on Twitter about how someone in Sims 4 had had their Sim die at the strip club (which you can get if you use a popular mod) and the Grim Reaper showed up ... and started throwing money at the dancers leaving the player unable to leave the lot

I've got a naughty mod with a strip club and it's not making any money because Greg (the scary werewolf) parks his bum outside every night so that customers run away! Why won't he bugger off!

I’ve been playing Sims 2 and I forgot how good it is. I’m enjoying it much more than Sims 4.

I’ve been playing the Sim Don Lothario. He was out with Cassandra Goth who he is engaged to and another Sim got jealous and slapped Cassandra, this Sim is now harassing Don he keeps coming to the house and tipping over the trash can. It’s little things like that, that make Sims 2 more entertaining than Sims 4.

Message from the sims instagram. There's going to be an update in November that "includes 150+ fixes and fresh freebies" more info coming on Monday.

It reads to me like the PR team are panicking and threw a statement together - it's giving lipstick on a pig vibes, personally

I miss creating a neighbourhood from scratch, deciding on lot sizes and where they're placed, like in Sims2. Does anyone know if they'll bring that feature back?
