Exactly. Surely you’d be sitting there utterly mesmerised by your new son, posting reviews about coffee shops on social media was the last thing on my mind in the hours after ours was born.
Argh the hospital bed! I know the baby transfer happens in the hospital, but it just seems so performative to sit in the hospital bed like that.
And that baby is what, a couple of hours old and their picture is already on social media. I know it's not their face etc etc, but I would hate for my baby pictures to be out there out of my control

Just seen her stories, it doesn't go from 0 to section that quickly without something being either wrong with baby or mother. So either it was a bit slower than she suggested or she snapped some pictures of her surrogate in during emergency surgery.
And yes I know sections aren't always super life threatening situations (my first was unplanned, but it still took a few hours to go from "yeah, probably going to need a section before that gets worse" to me being on the table). Although I guess it would be different in the states

I think Bertie was a c section delivery so maybe she had to have a section with this one. If her waters broke she would have to go straight in for a section, that happened with my son.

Forgive my ignorance of surrogacy but would she have used her eggs or the birth mum’s?
I believe it’s her and her husbands fertilised egg, carried by the surrogate
She made embryos with her own eggs back in 2021-22 ish, I only know this as we used the same clinic.
I do find it a bit strange that she’s out running whilst the baby is (presumably) still in hospital I couldn’t take my eyes off my babies for a second when they were tiny!

Ooh good spot, looks like it! Would you not be spending your time snuggled down bonding in these early hours? Especially as this is a baby she didn't carry so she's entirely alien to him/her right now (no idea if it's a boy or girl). I mean, who having just had a baby (even if you didn't give birth yourself) is going to be running 3 miles without their baby and posting her coffee shop ratings on insta (seriously, who gives a F about her crappy coffee shop reviews?!).
She's totally tone deaf and thinks her running and coffee reviews is more important than spending time bonding with her new born. Pretty sure she said they were having another boy. She didn't seem to bond with Bertie when he was a baby so you'd think she'd spend more time with her newborn.
Sorry, her new baby has JUST been born and she’s out running!? Soak up these moments!!! They’re the best.
Yeah I saw that story after I posted! Glad baby is healthy and out of hospital. Hope their surrogate is also recovering well.
My point still stands about her going running. It’s really weird that she doesn’t want to be with the baby all the time.
Also, those coffee reviews are a total waste of time when they’re in America and most of her followers are in the uk - I could not give a tit about a coffee shop in South Carolina or wherever she is, I’m never going to go there 
The fact that she is doing unboxing and taking baby outlet shopping when it's days old really underlines why maternity leave and adoption leave are not the same at all
And why the fact she is still just focussing on herself and being selfish rather than enjoying the new family time and being together
