Tempo and speed work?! I have yet to see any evidence of that on her Strava 🤔🤣
She is beyond ridiculous these days. So much money and no acknowledgment of it whatsoever.

She’s about to embark on a 5k training block- you’d think she would want to spend time with Bertie and her husband given they are awaiting the arrival of their second child

Or maybe be a mum to the new baby?! I can’t imagine running even going through my head if I was doing what she was doing tbh…

This and this ⬆ Bertie already has separation anxiety and they're adding a new baby into the mix, instead of planning how to make the transition as smooth as possible, she's planning runs 🙄. She'll be complaining in a few weeks about not being able to get out for her runs, or train for Cape Town marathon.

I really feel for her having fertility challenges but how on earth would it make sense to you that being mum to a newborn is the perfect time to start a 5k training block? She’s trying to break 24 minutes as a mediocre middle aged runner, not lining up for LA Olympics.

Whenever she moans about not being entitled to maternity leave, she puts her foot in it and emphasises why surrogacy/adoption leave is not the same as maternity leave.

Even without the impact on her body of pregnancy and birth you'd think she'd be planning for sleepless nights etc? And I would think lots of contact time would be vital for a baby that has been removed from it's mother after birth?
Was Bertie an easy baby?

She moaned a lot about Bertie but he was just an average baby/toddler, I think her reality didn't measure up to her expectations.

I think he probably was. We’d know about it if he wasn’t! She also mentioned that they were sleep training him at some point

I just can't with this woman! Bertie is young, they've just moved and now rather than settle into that new home, new nursery etc she's taken him away to the US for weeks on end. During which time a new sibling will be presented. Now is a time to spend a lot of time making him feel secure.

Update! Her surrogate had the baby. I'm guessing early? Not sure when it was due, early Dec maybe.

Besides the fact that there is a newborn now in the mix it’s also Christmas time. Bertie is in that age group where Christmas is even more extra special and the magic of it all it’s such a special time with kids and family. Who thinks about 5k PBs?

Her stories seem like she’s frustrated that the baby has arrived early and disrupted her plans. She puts a couple of posts about the baby and then she’s back to local coffee reviews. Her reaction to the birth is weird

I'm assuming the baby needs to stay in hospital for a bit or she would have him with her. But most mothers would stay in the hospital with their baby.
