I think I would want to be snuggling, skin to skin and loads of cuddles. Maybe that is happening too and this other stuff is just a distraction

But then why show it? No one would care if she went off line for a while. It’s weird. Like the baby never happened!
It’s giving real “we went to the US for a holiday, and whilst we were there, we also got a baby” energy.

Whilst she doesn’t owe us details about the baby, there’s been nothing along the lines of “he’s finally here, we’re totally besotted, we can’t believe how lucky we are” which is pretty much how every other new parent talks about their child. She doesn’t exactly hide her thoughts about her toddler when he whinges about buggy runs or can’t keep himself occupied for a multi day trip to cheer on a race.

I just get the feeling she’s pissed off the baby arrived early and is trying to have the month she’d originally planned to have before it arrived.

Appreciate we don't see everything but it comes across like she's toting the baby round like an accessory, in the sling while shopping and posting insta pics etc
Whilst she has no birth to recover from the baby does, and frankly who wants to take a new born with very little immune system round shops and a daily cafe trip? Let him rest and get used to his family!

It's also just unfortunate given that surrogacy has a reputation (maybe unfairly in her case) of rich women renting poorer women's wombs. And here's Charlie just continuing her endless consumerism.

Her posts at the moment really suggest that she’s not that happy about the new baby- no acknowledgement of the surrogate just Charlie running mental health miles and continuing her pointless bra and coffee reviews

I can't believe she didn't acknowledge the woman who carried Woody for nine months and went through major surgery to deliver him.

Well, the uncomfortable truth is that she paid her for it so it was part of the service (so to speak).

Whatever your views on surrogacy are, you are paying for a baby! I can’t quite get my head around what would make you go through 2 c-sections and hand over the babies you’ve carried, but I’ve also never been in that situation.

The average cost of a US surrogate is $200,000 and that doesn’t even include medical expenses or food allowance etc etc

She said Bertie cost £250,000 but this one would be cheaper as they already had the eggs etc

Just where does her money come from?! She barely works, has countless holidays and has just moved from a very nice house to what I presume will be an even nicer one (post refurb - so another thing to pay for). I guess her and hubby must both come from very wealthy families?
It feels really frustrating that so many brands work with influencers who clearly come from money and could afford stuff anyway. Would much rather see those less privileged get a leg up

Definitely family money. She went to a posh boarding school and her husband's family are filthy rich - they have a huge second home in Portugal and paid for his flying school. He loves to wear a top hat and tails and go to Ascot. And fine, rich people gonna be rich, but what is really grating about Charlie is that she's so out of touch she doesn't realise how privileged she is.

She’s an only child right? Who got sent to boarding school? Explains a lot about her weird robotic detachment from her toddler and baby then…

That sounds pretty lonely - boarding school is hard at the best of times, but with no siblings and divorced parents it would leave you feeling very detached. Explains a lot!
