I must be tired because I’m starting to feel a bit sorry for her (no sympathy for Kelly, I’m not that soft). She seems to just be going through the motions with running atm. There’s no shame to be run/walking but I’m not convinced it’s going to get her the BQ. I’m also not convinced it’s going to be relatable to the majority of her followers who are probably seasoned runners, know that run walking is fine in circumstances personal to them and don’t need her to be pushing it. The constant “I’ve not prepped this week” or “oh, silly me, all my workouts are backended” is getting boring and isn’t content worthy. Neither is getting her followers to tell her whether high waisted shorts or skorts look good.

She seems to have had a lot going on recently (TTC, mum and husband v ill) and it’s reflected in her feed. If I was her, I’d take a deep breath and really think about whether it was necessary to be online right now and who it was helping. It doesn’t seem to be helping her.

Yeah but we all know Beans and that she's a liar and fake individual
Talking of which, her new reel has her saying she only trains consistently when she has a marathon to train for. Surely we’ve been hearing for years that she struggles to train consistently?

with her working hours she might be using the long/short day to talk about 12 hr shifts vs 8hr shifts, my SiL nurse was a nurse and did 3 long days a week which was equivalent of 37hrs/week. She loved it as even though she occasionally got a bad pattern over earlies v lates she would regularly get 4 days off in a row. So she could well be doing the equivalent of 3 normal days a week.

Also just seen her story walking next to the water front and letting go of the buggy...maybe I'm being too risk averse but I would not want to let go of my buggy so close to the water!!

Besides the fact that there is a newborn now in the mix it’s also Christmas time. Bertie is in that age group where Christmas is even more extra special and the magic of it all it’s such a special time with kids and family. Who thinks about 5k PBs?

She’ll be well surprised once he is school and they can’t go on impromptu jollies! My daughter starts secondary next year and I am already thinking to reduce my running / racing schedule as it will be a big change and I want to be fully present to help her transition and support her and not go bye bye every weekend. Not that I do this at present but two marathons a year do take a toll on family life especially when working full time too..! I really can’t relate to her and her woes ..

Only! Incredible. Her youngest isn't even a year old.
Also she spends all her time moaning that she doesn’t have enough childcare to do her marathon training.

Having someone you can leave a baby and 3 year old with for 48 hours is a lot more than most people have.

She's becoming more and more insufferable and irrelevant isn't she. Trying to cling onto herself with YouTube and tagging all the big names to get noticed. She's a mother (apparently) and mid 30s, yet she's begging for people on the internet to follow her dull and over privileged lifestyle. Wow!

She’s about to embark on a 5k training block- you’d think she would want to spend time with Bertie and her husband given they are awaiting the arrival of their second child
Or maybe be a mum to the new baby?! I can’t imagine running even going through my head if I was doing what she was doing tbh…
This and this ⬆ Bertie already has separation anxiety and they're adding a new baby into the mix, instead of planning how to make the transition as smooth as possible, she's planning runs 🙄. She'll be complaining in a few weeks about not being able to get out for her runs, or train for Cape Town marathon.

Or how about can’t afford it, like most people?! Especially seeing as she’s just about to get another baby and have a year off her job, plus she’s moved house… she has no idea what it’s like for normal people!
Her baby will be what? 6 months old, and she has a toddler with separation anxiety. But she puts herself first as always.

I don't understand the point of any of her running. I run more than her and I consider myself a social runner/park runner. If she likes to run and it keeps her fit and healthy why doesn't she just do that and not try to be some kind of running/fitness influencer?

This is really sad. It reads like she expected him to fit into her adult life and she thinks he's "wild" for not doing so. No toddler could live up to that expectation and, crucially, no good parent would drag their three-year-old child halfway across the world and think they could ignore that child's needs all weekend, like she wanted to.

Yeah, just fucking PUT THE BABY DOWN while you’re putting your shoes on. Give it to whoever is holding the camera! Stupid! And also the way she holds him when he’s only a week old (kind of one handed) seems odd. They’re so fragile and special at that age, I used to hold mine close to my chest with 2 arms so their head is fully supported and they are right next to your chest. Feels much more secure and nicer for them.

Unless the baby is with them? I wish she'd just stay off SM at the minute if I'm honest. Surely she's peeing off loads of mums, who must be her target audience, as her experience of new born/mat leave (as she insists) is so different to most. Even before the baby the amount of travel with a toddler, and self focus on doing races, cheer squad etc is far removed from regular parents.

Are frilly top white socks, like my daughters wore in primary school, a thing now?
gosh it’s quite a look, especially combined with animal print leggings?!!!

another total non effort run by lazy beans, 2.17 half marathon for someone who wants to run a BQ. When was the last time she actually put she effort into a race (that she has flown several hours to do !!)

Still moaning. This time about the treadmill being “her only option for the last 2 years”. Conveniently ignoring all the time she has to spend on solo jollies and foreign races 🤦‍♀️
I know right - that is absolute BS for numerous reasons
Maybe if she didn’t spend so much time travelling to do mediocre races she would have more time to run on her own terms!
